Endo help
So I had a laparoscopy & left
salpingectomy
June 18th for Stage4 endometriosis. My doctor started me on depo provera to help stabilize my body. She told me I had to be On the birth control due to the fact that my Endo would return. How soon did it return after surgery?

Hysterectomy update
I had my total laparoscopic hysterectomy and bilateral
salpingectomy
and excision of endometriosis on Wednesday. Luckily my ovaries are clear of endometriosis so I have kept them and will not go into menopause or need HRT. I came home Thursday evening and am recovering.

Ectopic pregnancy
I had
salpingectomy
about a week ago and i'm now a wreck. I want to cry and have a meltdown but I don't think anyone will understand me. I feel like they are expecting me to be ok because as they say these things happen.

Advice wanted for post tube removal (salpingectomy) IVF
Me and my husband have been told we need IVF with ICSI however before this, I need to have an operation to see if my Fallopian tubes are patent / damaged if they are damaged then they're going to take them out. I wondered if anyone knew how long clinics tend to make you wait before they will start ivf

Bloody exspensive
I’m form nz so you would have to change currency and no one seems to really use the Nz page. But, for those of you have my knowledge about the real cost of this op I am having a Tutsi hysterectomy plus bilateral salpingectomies plus endo removal. The estimated cost for this is close to $17,500 nz dollars

Anyone who had bilateral
salpingectomy
due to severe endometriosis and had successful IVF? And for how many days did you bleed after the surgery? Thank you.

Less Invasive Techniques Gaining Traction in Ovarian Cancer Prevention
So why not just perform
salpingectomy
as a preventive measure, leaving the ovaries in place? While the idea is sound, there are no studies showing that
salpingectomy
saves lives when compared with the removal of both the ovaries and the tubes, Cass said.

Follicle scan - pannicking already!
I know I sound crazy, but I feel like my original gynaecologist sent me down this negative path by telling my that ovaries don't always behave normally after a hydrosalpinx/
salpingectomy
, although the nurse at the ivf clinic did tell me this isn't true ?!

Recovery after salpingectomy
Just iver 2 weeks ago I had an emergency
salpingectomy
via laproscopic surgery. I'm back at work now as I couldn't handle being at home alone with flash backs and crying over my loss. Although technically I'm on the way to recovery I feel like I'm not physically.

I underwent the above procedure only to have several problems that lead to me having my tubes removed (bilateral
salpingectomy
). Despite the hospital trying to convince me that the problems weren't associated with the coils, all of my problems disappeared within a couple of days of removal.

Excision tomorrow and salpingectomy..stopping in overnight?
Hi ladies, I'm quite nervous. Had a diagnostic lap in October for a suspected hydrosalpinx. They drained it and told me afterwards they'd found Endometriosis. The surgeon was actually quite blasé about it. For me it was a Eureka! moment and all my symptoms clicked. I found an Endometriosis specialist
