Anyone else had to have both tubes removed, what sort of time scale should I take off work, my understanding is it could be two to three weeks, does this sound about right?

I had one tube removed and I was fine after one week, although I asked the doctor for two 😊
It’s actually a simple procedure and the doctors don’t consider it “complex” - even though it was emotionally hard for me xx
Great thank you, my surgery was due 23rd December so it meant I had Xmas and new year off but yesterday they had to move me because they they had booked me into a theatre for minor surgeries, which they had said it is not a minor surgery, and now they have booked me in for 9th December which if I had two weeks off, I'll have to work all over Christmas, I guest I'm trying to still get Christmas off if I can which would mean taking three weeks, I was hoping I could get a sick note for that long ha ha x
Don’t you get Christmas off anything? The doctor should definitely write you a note for two weeks 😊
Nope, i work at a holiday resort and we're open everyday, it would mean I would need a three week sick note, but it sounds like I would be pushing my luck x
Always try! 😊
Holiday resort sounds fun!
It is mostly but you have yo work all of the holidays, pro's and cons with any job I guess
I had both tubes removed (two separate surgeries) and got a note for 2 weeks for the first one and 7 days for the second one - two different hospitals. I had both surgeries on Thursday and started working the following Monday from home as I have a mean boss
I'd say you'll need the 2 weeks if you have physical work. Good luck!
