How come all this has happened in my body in only few months! is this possible ?

I honestly don’t know how to began, I know most of the ladies here, had even harder journeys, but I feel this is more than I was ever prepare for...

As some of you might know our frozen transfer ended in Chemical pregnancy and it was so hard for us to make our peace with it as my husband doesn’t want us to continue with IVF... however I convinced him to try naturally as we have been pregnant before... last month we took a trip to help us to move on, while we were away I was experiencing really sharp pain and my period was also late more than one week, we got back and I have my period but I was still worried so I went for scan and everything happened so quick, Ive been told that there is something suspicious in my left tube and I needed salpingectomy right away, the surgery happened two weeks ago, it was laparoscopy... the specialist told after the surgery that endometriosis had caused the blockage in my tube, it was endometriosis stage 3 that we are dealing with! also I had a cyst in my left ovary that it has been drained and perhaps the reason for unsuccessful transfer was endometriosis.

I'm in sock! how come all this has happened in my body in only few months! is this possible ?? or I had these conditions before hand and it has been missed? I had been diagnosed with endometriosis before but Not in my fallopian tube and not stage 3! I've been told over and over that there is nothing wrong with my body.

I'm so angry as I'm sure there is a very tiny chance for us to get pregnant naturally... with November approaching its a year in to IVF journey( if you don't count all the waiting and the tests and IUI that we had done before that).

Please share with me your thoughts and experience with IVF and Endometriosis.

Love xx

Sure dear.. my husband and I were in a better place before my surgery but now I feel somehow he blame me for our failed IVF cycle... I really don’t know. We have 4 PGS tested embryos so I do hope we get to try at least one more time. Xxx

Oh I’m so sorry, it is probably just his frustration with the cycle not working but don’t feel like you are to blame for it - that is 100% not the case at all, so please don’t feel guilty! That’s amazing you have 4 tested embryos that are looking good, it would be a shame to not use them! Take time to heal and speak to your husband - I hope that he will come round xxx

I was diagnosed with endometriosis and also had a cysts in left ovary that was drained during the egg collection. We had a baby boy implanted which was graded AA highest grade but he didn't make it. Until this day I still don't have answer why he didn't make it. All I can say is atleast we tried.

I’m so sorry 💔 this is heartbreaking. I do hope you have make your peace with what has happened...

I have endometriosis for nearly 6 years of trying were told “nothing was wrong” very frustrating at how much time was lost. We couldn’t conceive until my endo had been diagnosed & treated the whole 6 years we didn’t have a chance of falling, for a long time I was angry at how it was missed by so many gynaes. Anyway we had a chemical pregnancy after my first surgery , my endo returned worse but I did fall again after my third surgery ( this time with an endo surgeon) every time my endo was much worse. I had a successful pregnancy which resulted in my 16 month old daughter ( a long 7 year struggle) . After having her we wanted her to have a brother or sister - we had low expectations & to be honest we didn’t think we had a chance with my endo & age but I conceived the second cycle of trying & am nearly 15 weeks pregnant( I’m due the same time I was with our chemical pregnancy)I had the spotting which I feared was the evil endo coming back & was completely shocked to see a positive test! My endo grew on uterus ligaments making the lining uneven & hostile environment for an embryo to implant ( it also grew on my pouch of Douglas and bowel) Before conceiving my daughter followed the anti inflammatory diet, used bee propolis ( very good for endo - study showed it helped endo ladies conceive) used progesterone cream between days 8-25 of my cycle ( ladies with egos tend to have lower progesterone levels) & took a low dose aspirin to control the inflammation from a lh surge to period due date. With this pregnancy I did none of that! There wasn’t the same desperation as we felt lucky to have our daughter. People that don’t struggle will never have that same level of gratitude for their children. It’s made us a closer family. It’s easy to say but I’d say not to give up I came close so many times it breaks your heart but but Miracles can happen. And in time your husband may change his mind over IVF he’s probably just hurt & grieving it’s such a tough journey it’s hard for men as they often bottle it up & try to be strong for our sakes ( that’s what my husband told me) I’m really sorry for your chemical pregnancy it is so heartbreaking especially when it’s so wanted 😭 but nothing to say another pregnancy wouldn’t be successful. I wish you every success xxx

Jess can I ask.. did you conceive naturally or both via IVF? And what is progesterone cream please? ♥️

in reply to Littlepeax

All 3 times naturally ( once the horrible endo had been diagnosed & treated) progesterone cream has progesterone usually 20mg per pump & can be brought over the counter- I got mine from iherb. It can boost progesterone levels naturally & help with lining etc. With my endo I had spotting a few days before period was due & sometimes in between periods so I thought my levels of progesterone might be lower. Although with this pregnancy I didn’t bother! My ex fertility dr agreed I could have progesterone pessaries during the early weeks of pregnancy ( till 12 weeks) even tho I was just trying naturally. He reviewed on a case by case sadly he’s retired now. Such an amazing man. Hope that helps a bit xxx

I have stage 4 endometriosis and had a laparoscopy and salpingectomy last July we did one round of IVF and I'm currently typing this while breast feeding our little girl who is 8 weeks old today!

Ours was a rollercoster though, we started IVF then they found the fluid and blockage etc but fluid in your tube is toxic to a foetus so may be the reason for your previous failed cycles. IVF was postponed and I then had laparoscopy and had four months of down regulation injections (prostrap) before starting the IVF again.

I wish you all the best, I was also told that the process of the laparoscopy can clear your other tube so keep trying once you have recovered if your husband isn't wanting to do the IVF again.

Sending lots of love XXX

Hi Mara, I suggest you search for alternative healing methods ( bioresonance really worked good on me along with some herbs especially vitex and gluten-free diet). I also recommend you use 'serrapeptase' for your fast recovery after surgery and maybe it will help you clear up any dead tissues left in there. ( first make your own research to see if all these will fit your case) lots of love and all the best wishes!

(Edit note: I should say that i dont know what stage endo but i was diagnosed with two grapefruit size endo cysts on both ovaries, having dealt with chronic inflammations, and so on, the doctors in the emergency room were about to take me to surgery and take my womb out along with my ovaries and put me on an early menaupose at the age of 28 telling me that there is no chance that i can ever get pregnant but i refused to go for that surgery and searched for alternatives. I changed 4-5 doctors, all told me that i have to go for surgery. Only one doctor told me that there is an alternative method called bioresonance. So i went for it and i went for many other alternatives from special exercises, diets, herbs, detox, etc. Finally, i got pregnant unexpectedly! And now i have a 20 months old son. Keep you hope alive and search for every way. )
