Best Way to Post a Follow-Up or Update ?
Just wondering how best to post an update concerning my father's experience with episodes of psychosis after emergency surgery for a broken ankle? I don't know if people will more likely read it if I make a new post OR under the comments. My original post was 2 months ago. Thank you!

Bisacodyl
Taken Senna, Fybogel and Laxido and haven’t had any bowel movements. I’ve seen people say to take Bisacodyl as this is quite strong. What are people’s experiences with this? Does it work? When is the best time to take it?

7 Yr old bed time wetting and occasional day
Hi all, my 7 year 3 m old has had ongoing issues with day time wetting, this has improved in school over last year and now he only occasionally has a small wet patch after school, but he often leaves going to the loo till the very last minute and sometimes doesn't make it, he has never had a dry pull

Help with steroid induced hyperglycaemia
My story is in my bio as it’s rather long! Is there anyone out there managing Steroid Induced Hyperglycaemia? As I started on 70mg and had to stay on it for 6 weeks after diagnosis, I quickly developed SIH and have found it a daily battle to control it despite being on a very low Carb diet indeed! Diabetic

advice on bisoporol
Does anyone else get memory problems from bisoporol, I was fine on it but this past 4/5 months I’m having really bad memory problems and bouts of tearfulness and it’s very upsetting. Is there and alternative beta blocker that does not affect memory or would calcium channel blockers be better and what

Another injury, wrist this time
Just the other day, for unknown reason, memory of an old acquaintance popped into my mind, specifically her frequent use of the expression, "What fresh hell is this?" Perhaps I alerted the demon in charge my fate when I wondered if I could find a reason to say it. Yesterday I'd just heard from my son

Gym Circuits - good idea?
I manage my fibromyalgia through pacing and exercise so I swim, walk, run and do AquaFit. I have recently also tried to include pilates or yoga for stretching as well. However these classes have been cancelled and there is now a gym circuits class which I have done twice. It has caused me so much pain

Waking up a sleeping colon
I have had this happen several times. Yesterday I had a call from a person who was going to stop by in 2 hours with their grandchild. Of course I was thrilled but also realized by house needed a big once over. I literally flew around, vacumning and washing the bathroom, etc. Lots of bending down which

Last do embryo
hey all, I’ve posted here a few times. But we’re on the final leg and I have my last ever frozen transfer next Friday with our last embryo using donor eggs. This is cycle 8, with a twin MMC and endless tests. I showed I had high NKC and had the Alice, era which has shown I need an extra day of drugs

Day four
Well what a journey, day 4 and still no kick back from IBS. So far the foods that have triggered my IBS that I have tried again. Tomato sauce, crisps/chippies, gingernut biscuits, water, saveloys, marmite/ vegemite and wholemeal bread. All in moderation except for the bread, love my bread. Not a reaction

Mum update (CBD)
Thought I had finally better give you all an update on mum. Mum had a fall back in Feb which resulted in a broken nose and slight skull fracture, still mobile unaided at this point, but with falls risk. Admitted to hospital after 24 hours in A&E, finally getting a bed in a ward. Ward then had changed

Change in inhalers
I'm currently on sertide and being switched over to symbicort. I'm not sure of the dosage etc as need to discuss further with gp. I'm a little concerned as been on seretide for years. When I get switched it triggers flares and I've already had loads of time of work. I work part time. I also think I'm

Has anyone been diagnosed with 'Da Costa Syndrome' after a head injury.
Weird histories involving concussion. Da Costa syndrome first appeared in the American civil war. It was thought to be some kind of heart disease that caused fatigue. But many soldiers with this were executed for malingering and being cowards. Then it became a psychiatric condition in the 20th century

Sitagliptin
Has anyone ever been prescribed sitagliptin for recurrent implantation failure? I had a biopsy in Coventry (Dr Brosens) as we’ve had 3 failed transfers with top embryos and it has shown results which are more in keeping with recurrent miscarriages (which I’ve never had, never had a positive test) rather
