Best Way to Post a Follow-Up or Update ?

Just wondering how best to post an update concerning my father's experience with episodes of psychosis after emergency surgery for a broken ankle? I don't know if people will more likely read it if I make a new post OR under the comments. My original post was 2 months ago.

Thank you!

I would suggest a new post. The default sort in HU is order of posts. I wish the default was newest activity.

Thanks. Good tip for viewing posts.

Unfortunately that is only temporary. It always goes back to post order :(

I think a new post is best. I would likely miss the update.

my father also suffered phscosis after emergency bowel obstruction. We took him off amantadine and prempexiole. both medications he was taking for years. His lucid brain returned immediatly. HIs mobility was a problem but with lots of rehab hes on the mend

Lisa103, I am just getting back to this question I posted and I find your information very interesting and possibly helpful for us as well! Thank you for your reply. I was just now reading about the link between PD Psychosis and Amantadine and trying to remember if our daddy is still taking this prescription. Also I know at one point he was on Pramipexole. We are heading over to my parents now and I want to find out if he is still on these at least. ALSO TRYING TO GET MY FAMILY AND MYSELF ON THE BANDWAGON TO SEE IF DAD WANTS TO VISIT A LOCAL NEUROLOGIST WHO HAS EXTRA TRAINING IN "Movement Disorders", such as Parkinson's. His neurologist is a general one.
