FCR or BR proposed for second round of treatment in London
Diagnosed end of 2013. FLAIR trail Nov 2015 – June 2016 stopped due to severe muscle pain. (See previous posts) Now need more treatment. Moved up partly because I also need a hip replacement and they can’t do it with my low immunity. So I am now being offered FCR or BR. A year or so ago I was told there

Google How does FLUAD work
If you scroll down to who should not take this it says if you are on
Rituximab
& a whole other lot of Biologics " you should speak to your doctor
who may suggest you stop taking it"
But maybe the under 65 vaccine says that too?

In my 22 years of attending Rheumatology Clinics for numerous both in and outpatient appointments/stays I’ve only met one patient who went into complete remission on
Rituximab
and has stayed that way (no raw slugs either). Over time I’ve learnt to cope the best I can with a tough illness.

If I try both of those but don't get on with them
Rituximab
might be possible - but what a difference - infusions in hospital rather than self-administered injections at home. I feel pretty down thinking about these options.

over 65 flu jab - bad reaction
I was already suffering a flare and am awaiting
rituximab
treatment but she had given me a depo injection but that and the methotrexate dosage made no difference to this inflammation following the jab.

Good News
He said it was the best he had seen my fingers and thinks the
Rituximab
is working (slowly). I’m to see him in a month’s time - perhaps for a top up. Thanks for all your nice replies to my post with the Harbour Bridge. This is the view from the next level (where they have their High Teas).

Am I having a lupus flare?
I haven’t posted in a while i last had
rituximab
in 2016 and haven’t needed to have another infusion. But for the last few weeks things are getting harder. I haven’t ever suffered a lupus flare it was just one big flare when I was diagnosed so am a bit lost.

My Dana-Farber Trial Update
Started Acalabrutinib in August and had a couple of headaches over the first week. Called my care team. Tylenol basically stopped the headaches. They never came back. Zero side effects from Obinutuzumab. Today, I completed my first dose of Venetoclax at 400 mg after titrating up for a month. Maybe a
