tramadol augmentation
Is there anyone on here who can provide me with an link to an article that talks about augmentation from tramadol? My doctor has had me on it for many months, close to a year, and it seemed to work at first, but then it seemed to stop working, and now my RLS is getting worse. I see my doctor this Friday

Intro
Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself as I am new here. I live in the US and have suffered from RLS most of my life. I have been taking ropinirole for many years and am now at 4mg. I live in a state where medical marijuana is legal so I am trying that now with mixed results. It definitely helps

Embryoscope-Time lapse
Hi all, I hope you are all okay and possibly getting more positive news than me today š. Of the 9 eggs collected yesterday , 6 were immature with 3 getting fertilised and only 2 acting as was expected . They are obviously monitoring the two and hopefully we will have a transfer on Monday at blasto stage

General anaesthetic
Hi All! After some advice. Due to undergo an endometrial ablation under general anaesthetic. (Hopefully to help address chronic iron deficiency anaemia) Aside from having my b12 jab afterwards as opposed to before....anything else I should be aware of in relation to general anaesthetic? Last GA I had

Update on Oxycodone
Hello all my restless friends. I said I would let you know how I fared with starting oxycodone. I have now been taking 5 mg. Longtec (oxycodone) for two weeks. This tablet is slow release over 12 hours. For the first few days I played about with the time of taking and have now settled on 8.00 p.m

Update Pramipexole
Just thought I would give you all a quick update. It's been a year since I decided to wean myself off Pramipexole. Good news is I am still Pramipexole free! I just want to let others know it can be done, the first month was horrid. The withdrawal symptoms aren't very nice and at points I had been tempted

Do I have Sjogrens ??
So, I saw my Rheumatologist today. She doesn't think I have Sjogrens. Positive ANA, but blood work for Sjogrens was negative. Lip Biopsy suggests Sjogrens. Parathesia ranges from tolerable to miserable. I have virtually no pain. She prescribed 300 mg. Plaquenil daily 10 days ago. She tells me my symptoms

Hi Everyone I have been told by my oral specialist that I have Sjogrens. She wants to do a lip biopsy to confirm. I also have oral lichen planus and GAVE. Is there any need to find out if I have Sjogrens. Can't i just continue to treat symptoms. What is the prognosis for Sjogrens will it worsen or just

RLS Mistake
I really messed up, maybe this will help someone else. Had legs mainly under control with clonapin, lyrica & trazadone. I felt like I was augmenting on clonapin. Had some leftover Requip which I thought would help since it's been months since I augmented on it. Well, now my rls is coming on 2 hours

Pramipexole and anxiety
Iām quite sure that I have augmentation with my pramipexole. One thing I have noticed is increased anxiety. Iāve been on 0.25 x 3 in late afternoon for several years. I donāt even know what it feels like to be off the med. I use hydrocodone for backup. I think I could get by with just that after

Dyskinesia from pramipexole
Hello, First time poster here :) I've had great success with pramipexole for just over a year, but some months ago, I developd a tic that my doctor diagnosed as dyskinesia. She then switched me to ropinirole (Requip), which I have been taking for 3 nights. My question is this: How long can I expect

Celebrities on the NHS Frontline - BBC1
I have just watched some of this programme, which includes Dr Michael Mosley and Ann Widdecombe. I'm seething - the NHS is so two faced and hypocritical. Quote from consultant - "it's cheaper to carry out expensive procedures (eg Ā£50k heart operation on an 88 year old lady) than to not do it". Why

Travel Insurance
Does anyone have any recomendations on where to get travel insurance from ? I always used to get it through my bank but they won't insure me anymore because of my RA, I've also not long ago had knee replacement surgery so this may have gone against me too.
