Cold mucus cough
I was diagnosed with GCA in August 2019, and have had my first cold since I started taking the medication for it, I have never in my 69 years of life been reduced to spending time in bed with a cold, the cough that is accompanying it is horrendous and because I seem to be coughing so much day and night

Full of cold
Gutted, was all set to do W1R2 today but have woken up full of cold and lacking energy. Figured I'm going to give it a miss today as I know I haven't got the strength. I don't want to not achieve by attempting to do something when I'm not 100% as I'll know it'll demotivate me. Fingers crossed for tomorrow

Cold hips?🥴
Happy running New year to everyone. Did a run on New year's day and boy was it cold. Got into my old hip joints and never felt warm all the way. Painful as well, took 3 days to get over it. Any tips on how to keep my joints warm, thinking of the gym but I love running outside.

Do you think it would be a good idea to post mortem on my Father?
I went to collect my father death cert today and it said he died of pneumonia with multiple organ failer but i belive he could have a urinary tract infection before going into hospital and picked up the pneumonia from in there which led to septis shock, the septis shock by the way is not on the death

Severe pain and stiffness
For the last 8 days I’ve had a dreadful cough and cold. During the last 3 days ever bone and muscle in my body aches, is sore and painfully stiff (including my fingers and toes) I can hardly turn my head or walk properly. I’ve had PMR for 5 years, and during that time I’ve had colds... but I’ve never

Cold weather and rigidity?
I just got back from traveling to Switzerland and had a bad experience with walking. While I have some minor issues with mobility here in the south (Memphis, Tennessee, USA), I was unpleasantly surprised with severe ankle and calf rigidity in cold temperatures. I’m new at this, just diagnosed in April

Inulin - may help sleep and constipation
My daughter recently bought me some inulin to try as she had heard it can help you sleep. I can't honestly say it helped me sleep at the time, but a side effect is that it is helpful with bowel movements!! More recently I took some on holiday with me - for my bowels, and this time I do think it helped

Cough
Thank you to everyone who replied to my question. Next question : My husband has a very persistent cough, also seems to have a lot of mucus at times. Is this part of PSP? He has some swallowing difficulty so therefore uses thickened drinks. I don’t know if the cough is from saliva going down the wrong

Methotrexate when suffering from a cold?
At the moment I have a very heavy cold with a terribly sore throat and a painful chesty cough. I've been told that I should skip the MTX while the cold lasts. Do others agree and, if so, could anybody tell me the reason why? Information I've found online is sketchy, contradictory and confusing!

Chest Cold -- Weak Cough
I trust all have had a wonderful holiday season. We have been hit with some pretty bad sickness in our household, and my Momma is about a week and a half into a pretty significant cold. No fever until yesterday, but it was low grade. My chief concern is that she is struggling with enough strength

Holidays and sickness
This time of year when you are basically required to be among more people whether family or out shopping you put yourself at risk of catching a cold or the flu. In my case that always leads to pneumonia. If my daughter , her husband or any of the grandkids are sick I just tell them we'll get together

Date for Ablation has come through but oh no..,
I have a horrible cold and cough! Pre op 7th Jan, ablation 23rd Jan! Bit shocked as saw EP November and told could be 7 months but hopefully Feb/March, so wasn’t expecting it to be so quick! Let’s hope this cold/cough goes within the next week. Any suggestions on what I can take for the cough, on Bisoprolol

Starting to feel anxiety again
For the last two months I have been feeling great. I did not get dizzy spells anymore and didn't feel pressure on my chest. I am so thankful for my medication, Lexapro. I was worried of being too dependent on the medication so, I stopped taking it for like two weeks. I have been sick with the flu for
