Baby’s 1st cold
Hi ladies... is it normal for baby to vomit whilst having a cold. Baby just woke up and is quite congested anyway and he vomited his yoghurt from this morning whilst coughing?

What you don't know about pneumonia: It is the 'big killer' for people of any age.
For six hours in a Saint Luke's Hospital emergency room recently, Dakota Allen worried that he might become a fatal pneumonia statistic. He'd been coughing for weeks. "I overlooked it," said the 20-year-old who works two jobs, one of them at Operation Breakthrough in Kansas City. "I thought it could

Do your feet get cold after eating...sugar?
In an attempt to reduce protein and fat interactions with levodopa absorption, I increased carbohydrates. What i thought was levodopa wearing off, turned out to be poly neuropathy aggravated by increased blood sugar. I noticed my feet getting cold after eating and googled feet getting cold after eating

Antiviral Compound Offers Hope Against Deadly Flu.
What keeps most infectious disease researchers up at night aren’t infamous viruses like Ebola. Instead, influenza, commonly known as the flu, continues to be a clear and present danger to humanity. “Influenza is a huge problem, as the virus sickens or kills millions of people each year,” says David

Constant Cold!
Hi all, how is life treating you. Its been a while since I have posted. I am just wondering if anyone else suffers with one cold after another? I am fed up of blowing my nose!

Week 3.2 - harder in the cold?
My second week 3 this evening was my hardest run yet. Probably just the cumulative effect of pushing my body... but I do wonder if it's because of the cold? It was a bit icy in places, do definitely my coldest outing to date. I still finished the runs though. 😊

Week 3 done
I did my final run of week 3 in the park this morning, cold and frosty but sunny. I found it much harder than runs 1 and 2 of week 3. I don’t know why? 🤷♀️ I knew it was going to be cold this morning, so I bought myself a long-sleeved running top yesterday. Who am I?!

Lovely Sunday ☀️❄️
Just completed first run of week 2 - so cold in South Wales this morning, I was looking forward to the 90 seconds of running to get warm 🥶Very icy too so be careful if you’re running on pavements like me. Happy Sunday running everyone 😁 looking forward to a cold but sunny day and to breakfast🍴 !

Do I taper if I’m coming down with a cold?
I started the “Dead slow” method of prednisone tapering - went down to 7.5 (for 1 day) from 8; the first 2 days were OK, some nausea, but by mid week was fine. I’m to take 7.5 again tomorrow but am struggling with the start of a cold. (I’m also on Actemra.) Any thoughts as to taking 7.5 tomorrow or stay

Unresolved Pneumonia
I have Asthma COPD Overlap Syndrome (ACOS) and spent several weeks in hospital 8 months ago with Pneumonia which was resistant to antibiotics. I have since been taking Ciprofloxacin as a long-term plan to reduce infections. Since my recovery, I have noticed that I have become more and more breathless

Can’t tolerate the cold—is this a lupus thing?
I am the most cold-intolerant person I know. I despise winter and would much rather be in 90 degree weather than 40s even. I can be cold when others are hot. When I’m cold I shiver and tense my muscles so much that my muscles ache, so that being cold is painful, like torture! I turn purple (do think

Do your ectopics worsen when you're ill/have a cold?
Hey all - I have my first cold in over a year and I'm feeling so much worse than usual because I am also suffering with chronic fatigue/ME. I was ablated almost 3 years ago but still regularly suffer with ectopics. Since coming down with this cold though, my heart has obviously been beating faster due

Refusal Of Perscription On Hand
I asked for Antibiotics and Steroids ready for my next chest infection as I get them invariably after each cold or flu but was denied access under the reason that they could not monitor toxisity in the body as people did not contact them to say they had took the medication. Is this now endemic to all

Hospital has now refused to do a post morton on father!
The death cert reads 1a) Multi Organ Failure 1b) Pneumoccal pneumonia 2 ) Congestive Cardiac Failure, Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension But i wonder how much of that is true and why septic shock is not put down as i was told this is what my father died from?
