Lonely
My husband is too tired from
renal
failure
to want to do anything other than sleep all afternoon and I really wanted to do something as all I've done is stay in the house or go shopping at the supermarket for ten days now and by nature I like to do a lot and be with people, and so I started to feel lonely

Haemodialysis and blood pressure
I have read that the main cause of death in
renal
failure
patients is heart attack and stroke so I am not comforted. Also do other people object to having the consultant do a ward round once a month rather than having a private consultation.

Without words
My husband has
renal
failure
and because of that I tend to accept he can do less, so I moved everything myself which was a massive job especially as I am overweight and have joint problems. It hurt me but I got on with it because it needed doing.

Hi everyone. I have ADPKD stage 3 renal failure last GFR 34 and just done a creatinine clearance which was 40. Now have breast cancer too,
just wondered if there is anyone out there in a similar position. I had a partial mastectomy 4 weeks ago and am now on arimadex tablets starting radiotherapy soon. Also had an echo cardiogram today before starting Herceptin next week. best regards christine x

Linda Wootton: Double heart and lung transplant dies nine days after she has benefits stopped.
Linda Wootton, 49, was on 10 prescription drugs a day, suffering high blood pressure,
renal
failure
and regular blackouts. Yet Atos – the private firm carrying out the Government’s controversial work capability assessments – ruled she was fit enough to find a job after she was interviewed.

D.L.A. Award
After 5 attempts I have finally been given DLA. You really do need to keep trying after all. Just got the letter saying I have highest award for mobility and lowest award for care. Rang the DWP and guess what ? I still have to attend for my ESA support to get me back to work. Just have to convince

Regrets
A man stirs next to me in bed He's not really here He's nearly dead. 'Twas just three months today That in the middle of the night He sat up and said "My God I do feel ill" "You've been saying that for years" I crossly replied "how many times have you thought you've died?" "Go back to sleep

Well here it comes here comes the night. I am sure that is part of an old pop song, perhaps someone can tell me. After my recent heart attack I have managed to go out with my wife for a ten minute walk.Unfortunately

Which has less side effects injecting insulin or pills .
I am taking diamicron xr60 , glycomet 1gm, and onglyza, recently I was also advised to take 10 units of lenctus insulin. Now if some medicines are to be reduced or say if my blood sugar levels come under control , what should I prefer to drop insulin or pills . And which will have less side effects
