please advise how to control BS using insulin and meals?

I have 18 years old son diabetic type 1 ,since one year , he,s in insulin Novorapid / Lantus

BS was controlled for sex month and then fluctuating hi and low , i have changed to novomix for two month still BS fluctuating

No ther go for type 1 You have to get prescriptions and follow doctors in using insuli life long.
