CAPD catheter belts and where to get them
Hi folks, New to the site but already finding it very helpful. I have just had my PD catheter fitted and will be starting my training in a few weeks. I have been advised that PD catheter belts/band are really handy but am struggling to find many suppliers. Can someone point me in the right direction

Complications After Kidney Transplant
After kidney transplant, the patient is very prone to infection. Three contributive factors are as following. First, the major surgery on blood vessel and urinary system temporarily decrease patient immune ability. Secondly, for kidney failure patients, their absolute immunity is low then normal person

Parkinson's and Renal Failure
I was diagnosed in 2011 with Parkinson's and now I've been diagnosed with Stage 3
Renal
Failure
. Anyone else diagnosed with both and are they possibly connected? I'm only 60 and find this so discouraging.

Stage 3 Chronic Kidney disease
I was diagnosed yesterday with Stage 3 Kidney Disease. I'm still reeling from the diagnosis. I also was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2011. I'm 60 yo and wonder why everything is suddenly going wrong after always being healthy. Any advice on diet and exercise would be helpful. Thank you

Acute Renal Failure
I am asking for advice on behalf of my brother who was dx with ACR 3 weeks ago as a result of prostate problems. He was admitted with I believe a creatinine of 2,000+ which has come down to 570 with an egfr of 45. What does this mean? He was discharged on Monday with a line & catheter in circumstances

Can I Get PKD at 36
If they can not control the
renal
cysts in the period, usually they will enter the
renal
failure
more than 5~10 years earlier. Many treatments can help control the rapidly-progress stage. But you should avoid the treatment that cause trauma to your kidneys.

What are the Reasons of Renal Anemia
The symptom of renal anemia is so mild that patients may not feel it. Many patients think that having a good rest is enough when they have the symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, palpitation and shortness of breaths after activities because they do not have much knowledge of renal anemia. What they haven
