I am suffering from diabetes for the last 3 years. I take Lantus insulin (10 units ) daily, Diamicron XR MEX 500 and Janumet 50/500. Still my blood sugar levels don't come down to normal.

Imagine this.

You have an out of control fire you are trying to extinguish with a water pistol whilst at the same time you are feeding it with gasoline.

The fire is your diabetes, the gasoline is the carbohydrate that started the fire and the water pistol is your medicine.

What you said is 100% satisfied answer but can you tell us a diet without carbs etc etc.. I am pakka telugu brahmin from Hyderabad Telangana I mean purely vegetarian

But next is looking into the cause of fire... just extinguishing fire will not suffice.

@anup your experience with herbs may be mixed.... but that is not situation all over India....Look at Baba Ramdev....he built his big empire on herbs....

If at all his herbs and herbal medicines were not useful ppl must have lost faith on him long back... but situation is different...his company is growing leaps and bounds...

And what do you think about those Pharma companies??? they must have sued him long ago...

now you will find Patanjalee products in each nook and corner of city.... what this success shows???
