Is Bionic pancreas the solution?
May be a bit overthinking , as a pre-diabetic, have been hearing a lot about the bionic pancreas closed loop systems all over the internet. Seems it is targetted for chronic or type1 diabetics. But it can be a hope for all. Just like the discovery of Insulin, this will change the way people manage this

Role of Probiotics for managing diabetes
A new research reveals that probiotics can help in increasing insulin sensitivity. When we eat junk food the amount of good gut bacteria lessens which is one of the reasons of type 2 diabetes. So when we eat natural foods like curds, yogurt, kefir, etc. or even if we take probiotics supplements it actually

BP & Diabetes are buddies
Hi folks, I was diagnosed with diabetes 1n 1994. But I had 3 paralytic strokes with coma & double vision twice. 1993, 2002 & 2013. I'm on insulin. Blood Pressure & diabetes are close buddies. They are killer diseases. I have a BP and a diabetes measuring kit (Accu check active). I use them regularly.

Early Wake Up: DEXCOM (Temprano despiértese: DEXCOM)
Okay, I know this is a little later than normal, but it's better late than never, right? ¿Bien, sé que esto es un poco más tarde que normal, pero es mejor tarde que nunca, verdad? I had changed the sensors on Monday this week and the old sensor did work. There weren't any reasons to call DEXCOM, so

Itching, shingles and feeling poorly after transplant
Hi Wonder if anyone can help. My husband had a transplant end Nov 2017 and has returned to work on a phased return. Although his mood has improved and he is less angry and cross he is not feeling too good. He was in agony and we went to our GP who sent him straight to A & E and they diagnosed shingles
