Progression
I have had a few rounds of
radiotherapy
on my spine and ribs and intensely on my primary breast tumour as it was protruding out of the skin.

Update - friend with bronchogenic adenocarcinoma
Other than that, he recommends stereotactic ablative
radiotherapy
. That is highly concentrated. Both have risks. My questions: - whether anyone has had the surgery and what was your outcome, your side effects? - for those who have had stereotactic ablative (body) radiation - outcome?

I would like to update my dad's situation (type 4 prostate cancer and bone metastasis) - LIMA PERU
I have noticed that he has more nausea but I don't know if it is because of the medication or the
radiotherapy
. Consultation: From what my dad tells me, it seems like the abiraterone is bothering him with the nausea. Has anyone been through that? What happens if the nausea is due to abiraterone?

Long time PRD sufferer.
I've been told that most of my problems have come from the
radiotherapy
. The issue I now have is that because of where I live I don't have access to a PRD specialist ( Closest one is in Glasgow). I would loved to know has anyone had or got similar symptoms as myself.

Temozolomide Side Effects
Therefore he had 3 weeks of
radiotherapy
along with 155mg daily TMZ. He has poor speech and his right arm is paralysed. However this week on the TMZ his speech is much slower and slurred and he is limping on his right leg quite considerably.

Locally Advanced PC - should I accept offer of docetaxel?
I immediately embarked on a 3 year programme of ADT and will have 39
radiotherapy
sessions around March '24. I've been offered an additional course of 6 sessions of docetaxel in advance of the RT and I'm trying to decide whether or not to take this chemo option. My gut instinct is to say no.

Back in permanent AF and warfarin dose decrease
I have opted for
radiotherapy
and hormone therapy under an oncologist rather than a urologist (who I have lost faith in). We are looking at a complete cure rather than palliative or adjuvant treatment which I am very pleased about. So, men, get your PSA checked! I caught mine just in time 🤞

Chemorads/Brachytherapy late side effects
I was quite sensitive to
radiotherapy
which resulted in me needing a replacement hip last year. Anybody else have the same and how do you control the pain?

Are you interested in helping with some research measuring the impact of radiotherapy?
We are hoping to hear from people who have received
radiotherapy
for lung cancer or those that have cared for others during
radiotherapy
treatment for lung cancer.

Facing thyroid surgery?
Not knowing what to do and following medical advice I spent a year on anti-thyroid medication, but when they paused the medication to see what happened the thyroid hormone levels went back up again and so the pressure began for me to have 'definitive treatment' - either
