Seeking Input on Salvage Radiation Therapy
Greetings all! I'm seeking input from those of you who may be AT LEAST TWO YEARS out from salvage radiation therapy (SRT) after a radical prostatectomy. I want to know what the LONG-TERM impacts of SRT have been on your daily quality of life regarding: - Incontinence - Sexual function - Bowel control

Completed 10 whole brain radiotherapy sessions
I'm surprised that I managed to dodge the
radiotherapy
for 7/8 months! I have been on 3 weekly kadcyla infusions since end of march with very few side effects.

Covid vaccine induced myocarditis, be my ailment, my own diagnosis.
After having the Covid Booster vaccine, 5 hours after this I started coughing blood up, not done that since first diagnosed with LC (I have Lung cancer, but a week prior my CT results came through as a (NED) no evidence of disease), so could not be caused by the tumour as Radiation therapy has eradicated

Radiation Fibrosis of Lung
Hi Everyone, My mum completed 15 fractions of
radiotherapy
during her breast cancer treatment and we have now learnt that this has caused fibrosis of her left lung. Does anyone have any information on this? I have been on Google and scared myself senseless! Thanks x

Chemotherapy Maintenance
Still on the Prednisolone for the inflammation of my right lung due to
Radiotherapy
side effects. On a reducing scale now but stopped for a couple of days to take the Dexamethasone. Back to the Prednisolone now . Omg these steroids might help but the weight I'm piling on 😪.

Doctor Options
I have been watching this forum a few months and learning a great deal. I was diagnosed in October 2021, Gleason 8, cribriform, pni. Started firmagon and zytiga in early December. Decided that HDR + Ebrt was my best radiation treatment option, primarily because a median lobe presented issues for seed

Skin problems chemo
Hi all, my husband was diagnosed with Gbm on March 1st, had awake surgery to remove,
radiotherapy
and then 6 months chemo as per standard treatment. He is tolerating quite well, put on weight and is always positive. He never looks up his diagnosis in Google.

Risks of RT for bowel/bladder damage
I am new to the forum, and I expect to begin Radiation Therapy in March or April after two months of ADT. Among the many disturbing aspects of the treatment are the side effects of RT. Can anyone direct me to info on the risk of RT damaging the colon, bladder or rectum and then requiring even more disturbing

radiotherapy to the prostate if metastasized out side of the prostate.
It would seem this procedure is not recommended as it is also for radical. Is there any reason a doctor would recommend this? Seems the horse is out of the barn.

Survival after Radical Prostatectomy versus Radiation Therapy in High-Risk and Very High-Risk Prostate Cancer
This just appeared in today's email. Apparently a database study of patients treated 2010-2016. At 5 years out, RP less cancer-specific mortality than RT.....the most significant advantage for very high-risk men. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34555930/ Not a randomized study, but will we ever have
