Pregabalin
I take 250 mg Pregabalin at night and 60 mg codeine I can just about manage my rls although I never get any sleep with them unti the early hours of the morning and then the sleep is very fragmented but what worries me most is my very bad balance which I put down to the Pregabalin I’m frightened of falling

iodine and thyroid
Beware supplements with iodine. I am a thyroid cancer survivor who had half of my thyroid removed and recently started taking a supplement that had seaweed in it. At my annual thyroid check up (just a few weeks after starting the supplement) my blood work and thyroid function had changed. My doctor

Hello, everyone, I've an appointment to see my doctor tomorrow and would like to know what strength of buprenorphine helps rls? I'm not doing so good, rls back with a vengeance, had to go back on the hrt gel as I found my rls was way worse after stopping it, I'm crawling all over, day and night since

postpartum thyroiditis
Hi, I'm 8 months post partum and had my bloods done for hair thinning and some aches and pains, and my thyroid levels have come back abnormal. Although my t4 level is normal at 14 my tsh level is 10.6 which after Googling seems to be very high. I'm retesting as it's been a month to check if the levels

Myelofibrosis and bone pain
how do people manage bone pain with Myelofibrosis. I used to get a dull ache in my shin bone only at night occasionally but now it is just about daily and is impacting on my ability to sleep. I bought CBD oil but it is not really helping and paracetamol doesn’t work at all. I don’t want to get into

Tramadol and RLS
So the Doc was still scrambling around not to prescribe an ipoid. And the Mayo did suggest tramadol or codeine. So l accepted another trial of a long acting Tramadol 50 mgs x 2.. Start today. "re-Tweeted" by Simon Pearce ..'evidence' that long term T3 use risks heart failure /stroke ... can anyone get full access ?
LT3 may also be used in some thyroid cancer patients preparing for
radioactive
iodine
therapy. However, there is a controversy regarding the safety of LT3 use, and there has been no definite evidence of long-term safety of LT3 therapy in Asian populations.

Irish sea moss?
Someone was telling me yesterday that they use Irish sea moss and swear by it. Googled it and read lots of positive comments about its health benefits. Does anyone here use it? Does it mess with levothyroxine/thyroid as it’s rich in iodine? Thank you 😊

Horizant
After pregabalin and gabapentin both made me nervous (I successfully tolerated the pregabalin for years, with daytime sedation however). Codeine also seems to be waking me up instead of sedating me. Doctor is suggesting trying Horizant. I know it is for people who experience symptoms all day, but

Codeine report
Took 1/2 tab of Tylenol #2 at 9:00pm. Came on strong and I was very stoned in a half an hour. I did go to sleep after a half an hour or so for about two hours. Then woke up with PLMs and sort of fearful (may just be from knowing what this process can do to my life and fearing that codeine won't work

Codeine/magnesium/food
Am I right that codeine interacts with magnesium (I take magnesium threonate and magnesium bysglicinate)? And what about taking codeine with food or not? Thanks.

Cold turkey
Hello everyone, I decided to go cold turkey on the last quarter of pramipexole, its been 5 days now, I had to up the codeine as the 900mg dose of gabapentin was making me feel weird, the rls is mostly confined to my legs which is great, so far I'm not getting a huge amount of sleep, mostly 1.5hrs at

Heart, heat or dental
I can’t believe what glorious weather we’re having but 30 seconds stood in it to wave relatives off this afternoon was enough for me! Definitely enjoyed the respite of the brief showers too. I’ve been feeling rough the last few days but can’t decide if it’s my heart, the heat or the infection in my

Wasting GP’s Time, so it seems

ADVICE PLEASE asap
If I take 10mg of zolpidem when I go to bed, is it safe to take 30mg codeine if I wake in the middle of the night with RLS symptoms. Have googled drug.com and see a MAJOR interaction so am worried about taking both. My sleep specialist who prescribed them never gave me any advice.
