No Answers; clock running out before I see latest doctor regarding prolonged, successful 18-year Coumadin use for clot to brain
I've written before, trying to find answers. I've had years of strange symptoms following a bout with Myocarditis and CHF. After successful treatment and a discharge by the cardiologist, I developed grotesque feet/hand swelling (increased several sizes within weeks). Sought out a rheumatologist who

Using medical marijuana CBD to combat ET
Was diagnosed with ET possible PD three year ago. The tremors are isolated thus far to the left hand with some rigidity in the left arm. I'm always cognizant of it and do my best to relax. I've researched medical marijuana and am currently using the CBD tincture (this is the non psycho active strain

Stage 1A Ovarian Cancer
Hello, I was diagnosed last Wednesday, two weeks after a radical hysterectomy. My Dr recommended 6 rounds of chemo. I'm really afraid, anxious and every other emotion. I feel if she got it all, why I would have to undergo that treatment. Why can't I have a low dose treatment or anything else other than

10 YEARS
Well this is a post I never EVER thought I would be writing. 10 years today I had my op and my cancer was confirmed with the words 'the prognosis is not good, you probably have a couple of years', delivered at my bedside by my surgeon who I had never seen before and whilst I was on my own recovering

Post prostatectomy when to start having anal sex?
My doctor didn't talk about when I could start having anal sex again post prostatectomy. Any guidelines guys know about? Also, Gleason 8 with capsule and one seminal vesicle involved, nodes and metastatic screen negative. What does everyone think about radiation alone vs. hormone therapy. Have been

Anyone else dizzy on High Dose Biotin?
Anyone else dizzy on High Dose Biotin? My neurologist suggested looking into high dose biotin to reverse M.S. I've been doing great on a nutritional diet only, similar to the Whal's Protocol, avoiding processed foods, eating nearly all fruits and veggies, with sides of meat, fish, seafood. Been on

Prostate Cancer Surgery and Incontinence
It's prostate cancer awareness month in the US, and as many men know, the prostate gland can create a lot of different bladder issues. And if a prostatectomy happens due to cancer, incontinence is often a part of life after the surgery. Sometimes the incontinence lasts just a few months, sometimes

Who'd of thunk it?
I was diagnosed with PCa in October, 2011 after a biopsy showed Gleason scores of 7, 8, and 9 in the cores. My PSA at the time was 6.2. After talking with several oncologists, I settle on a robot assisted prostatectomy. After the operation I was told the team could not get all of the cancer out.
