A message to you all from Peachy6958
I have been asked to post this by Peachy6958 who is struggling to work out how to use this forum - like many of us have at some time or other I suspect! I'm sure the mysteries will be revealed sooner or later! "This is my first post. I felt I had to write as I have actually had a major breakthrough today

Just over Surgery
I had an open prostatectomy last week and also all lymph nodes were removed as the cancer had spread to one of them at least. Getting the catheter out tomorrow and I’m glad as it’s driving me nuts. I have yet to get a full report from the operation but was advised that the nerves had to be removed and

Pain is a pain!
My main condition is Adhesive Arachnoiditis. It causes severe intractable, 24/7 pain. Most MD's have never heard of it or are not familiar with it. Some think it is a fallacy, I wish! As many of you know, it has gotten much more difficult to get adequate pain meds since 2016 with the Opioid crisis

Broken discs in my back and neck
Hi everyone my name is Summer. I broke discs in my neck and had them replaced with fake ones and my own bone marrow last summer they put in a titanium plate to support them. Unfortunately during my recovery I fell and broke the two discs on the bottom of my spine and hemorrhaged two in the middle of

I have suffered for ten years. I have had nerve entrapment surgery and tried many blocks, ablasion and PT. I have a medical background and researched CBD for pain. I now make my own suppositories, but you can purchase at a despensary if you have a medical marijuana card. I take a magnesium suppliment

Prostate Cancer Stage 4 Metastasized
My PSA went from (3.8) 4/15 to (10.2) 12/16. From then it actually took 8 months to receive a Robotic Prostatectomy which found my Gleason to be a 9 with seminal vesicle invasion. Dec 8 2018 post Prostatectomy PSA 12/8/18 @ 0.6 - 01/08/18 @ 1.51 and again 02/14/18 @ 3.57. It is a horrible feeling. Jan

My journey started March 2016
I have been a reader and sometimes give a small answer but haven't put my "details" out there. Since all of us are different in this fight we look for similarities. I was told I can't help if I don't input mine. This is me on my journey. Found out in March 2016. I went to my primary and told her that

Not much discussion on HU about the endocannabinoid system. If you are interested in medical marijuana for PD. Dr. Sarah King.
Hi Marc, We're jumping off the beaten path in this week's Facebook LIVE broadcast. Sometimes you just have to think outside the box and reach outside your comfort zone for answers, and Monday's interview will be taking a lot of us there. Dr. Michelle Sexton is a naturopathic doctor, professor

You are not alone
So my Doctor and I settled on a
radical
(1999)
prostatectomy
, with NERVE SPARING, ha! After successful surgery, I did 6 weeks of intense radiation treatment. A year later the incontinence was driving me crazy. So we added an artificial urinary sphincter (2000).

My story of CRPC
Hi All, I'm new here, but Prostate Cancer is old hat for me. I was diagnosed in 2009, and had the DaVinci Prostatectomy. A year later my first introduction to Lupron and 13 weeks of Radiation Therapy. I was clean until early 2012, and then went on Lupron full time. In 2016 that began to lose

Post Stent Pain.
Hi Everyone. I had two stents fitted about 6 weeks ago. I've been relatively well since then. I'm on 5mg Ramipril, 75mg Clopidogrel, 2.5mg Bisoprolol, 75mg Aspirin, Adcal 4x750mg. Ive got the usual stent settling feelings. I've been building up my exercise, been doing about 2.5 miles brisk walking each

I had a robotic
radical
prostatectomy
followed by radiation. I chose not to start Lupron until my PSA began to double in any 12 month period. I began an intermittent Lupron program once my PSA hit 33. I stopped after 4 months and by November I had a prostate cancer tumor removed from my bladder.

Sleep and medical marijuana
Has anyone been prescribed medical marijuana as an aid to sleep and also as an anti-inflammatory for arthritis? My doctor prescribed these for me but I am skeptical of the efficacy of this use, so if you have been taking medical marijuana for any period of time please give me an idea of your experience
