Broken discs in my back and neck

Hi everyone my name is Summer. I broke discs in my neck and had them replaced with fake ones and my own bone marrow last summer they put in a titanium plate to support them. Unfortunately during my recovery I fell and broke the two discs on the bottom of my spine and hemorrhaged two in the middle of my back. I’m in pain everyday. I tried the shots in both the areas in the hospital OR! They failed! I’m trying to find some relief. I tried medical marijuana through a dr. But I hate how it makes me feel! I’m like a 🐌 slug! I really want to stay off opioids but I don’t see many other options I’m hoping maybe some of you have some other options for me! I really need the surgery I had on my neck but I’m just not ready it hasn’t even been a year since my neck. The neurosurgeon said one year recovery and I don’t even have that under my belt yet. I’m also bipolar which only complicates the matter further more. Thanks for listening 🙏

Hi TalulahGrammar1989, I am sorry to hear that things are so difficult for you. It sounds as though you are in such a lot of pain and discomfort. I am not sure which country you are from, but here in the UK, we have specialist pain management clinics managed by consultants / clinical nurse specialists who specialize in the management of pain. It may be a good idea to ask your family doctor if it would be possible for you to be referred to a pain management team. Please stay on the forum where you will receive support from other members.
