Pain is a pain!

My main condition is Adhesive Arachnoiditis. It causes severe intractable, 24/7 pain. Most MD's have never heard of it or are not familiar with it. Some think it is a fallacy, I wish! As many of you know, it has gotten much more difficult to get adequate pain meds since 2016 with the Opioid crisis. We are now labeled as drug seekers while we are the least likely people to become addicts because we need these strong meds to give us a little better quality of life. I am currently on Methadone, Gabapentin (3600)mg daily and medical cannabis among other meds. I want to rotate back to Oxycodone/OxyContin. The dose ordered by my NP at a pain center would be way too low. I am now scheduled to see one of the MD's. Wish me luck
