Rising PSA and want to be the best advocate!
My father, who is 73, was dx'd with PCA in 2002, PSA 4.2,
radical
prostatectomy
at Mayo, Gleason 3+4, one positive margin. PSA undetectable until winter 2003. Had seven weeks of radiation to the prostate bed at Mayo in early 2004. PSA remained undetectable until 2014.

Heart rate over 100. Should I lower or up my Levo??
Hi I was wondering if someone had any advice on whether or not I should lower or up my Levo dose? I had upped from 100mg to 112.5 mg beginning of June, but my heart-rate just keeps going over 100bpm when I’m not doing anything. I’m still tired and feel as if I just can’t be bothered. I’ve been sitting

Electric stimulation machine Therapulse or compression machine effective for RLS ?
Hello, I am new to this website, and writing on behald of my mother who is 61 and has been suffering with insomnia and RLS for many years. I am not sure if the RLS causes the insomnia or the other way around but they are both extremely difficult to deal with, as many people on this website know. Currently

5 Challenges to Conventional Wisdom in Prostate Cancer
1- The rapid growth of prostate cancer treatment is not driving increased survival. 2- Gleason score 6 is not prostate cancer. 3- PSA-based screening does not save lives. 4- Prostate cancer surgery for localized prostate cancer does not improve survival. 5- Robotic prostatectomy has never been properly

Radical Prostatectomy - Maybe It's Time is Past
I recently received this from Prostate Cancer News: Basically, research indicating that the related side effects make

counter-indicated for Gay Men.

Stagnant Condition.
I've had a prostatectomy followef by salvage radiation due to a rising PSA. Initially, the salvage radiation worked and PSA was undetectable. However, a few months passed and my PSA steadily rose at a quite rapid rate doubling about every three months to .8 before stabilizing. For the last 6 months it

Hashimoto's, levothyroxine intolerance. Help please anyone?
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in February 2021, following a routine blood test, and put on 25mcg levothyroxine and was fine. In June 2021 my dose was increased to 50mcg. Again, I thought I was fine, although in hindsight, I think I may have been having side effects, but due to working etc missed

Lycopene + Sulforaphane - Forms, Dosage, Upsides, Downsides?
I've got Gleason 3+4 PCa, PMSA PET, 3T MRI, CT Bone Scan show nothing outside capsule, but 31 PSA (Age 53). Have Robotic Prostatectomy scheduled in a couple months. Done tons of research and the area I'm most "unsure" of is CAMs (Complimentary Alternative Medicines). From what I've gathered, Lycopene

Feeling really down
I have recently started treatment for recurring cancer.Rubrac a didn't work for me and I have already had Carbo/Taxol and Carbo/Caelyx. As my son and his family are visiting from New Zealand in July (prompted by my increasing ill health) I decided to try Anastrazole tablets rather than weekly Taxol,

Miracle cures.
This is not really a question. Just have to let off steam. I am so tired of reading or hearing about all these miracle cures for rls. I try everything with the hope of some kind of miracle. I purchased the relaxis pad for $1000., all sorts of rubs, supplements, cbd gummies, medical marijuana, etc

Biochemical Recurrence: Radiation
My husband was diagnosed in Aug. 2020. Biopsy showed Gleason 9 with 3 cores positive. He had hormone therapy shots for 3 months, then a prostatectomy in Feb. 2021. Now his PSA has risen to .4 so he was put on hormone therapy (Orgovyx) and they want to start radiation. It is called biochemical recurrence
