I'm new here- have Hashimoto's & am subclinical hypo- should I start Levothyroxine?
I'm completely new to all this having had my thyroid and then antibodies tested only a couple of weeks ago for the first time (TSH 9, T4 11, antibodies over 1000.) I have had what I now realise were thyroid symptoms for around 5 years and have self treated with supplements such as iron for hair loss

B complexes and b12 breaking me out?
I have been getting spots on my face, neck and shoulders for a few months now. I'm gluten free, I use natural skin care, I have never ever suffered with acne and only get the odd hormonal breakout usually, I don't eat rubbish either, only organic and fresh foods. After researching all the vits and mins

In January I was told I was deficient in Vit B and given loading doses, then informed I would be on 3 month injections. I was also give iron and folic acid tablets to take as these were low. I had never heard of this deficiency or PA etc until that morning and to be honest from the way it was brushed

Fatigue help?
I've been dealing with fatigue for over a year now, but kept putting it down to being 'lazy' before I knew I had endo. Now that I know why I'm feeling this way, it's easier to not blame myself. However, it's really getting in the way of my studies. In a month's time I have to sit my uni exams. My mind

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Cruciferous Phytochemicals - [5] Sulforaphane
This is the 5th & final installment on cruciferous vegetable phytochemicals. The best source of sulforaphane is broccoli sprouts [1]. You may have seen BroccoSprouts in the local supermarket [2]: "BroccoSprouts® Broccoli Sprouts are the only product that guarantees a consistent level of sulforaphane

Help with Medicheck blood test results
I am on 30 mcg T3 and feel I am still under medicated so decided to have a blood test done to check my current levels. I have previously had blood tests done via the doctor and my thyroid antibody results were 385 IU/ml (less then 101) in Jan 2015 and 239 in March 2016. My recent test results from Medicheck

Some really good info on Magnesium...
This is to pass on some things I have learned, by experience, about taking magnesium for RLS. It is very helpful for calming the nerves, and helpful with sleep. Also relaxes the muscles. BUT, that does not mean just any magnesium! Magnesium Oxide is the worst. It is not well absorbed as a mineral

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Cruciferous Phytochemicals - [3] 3,3'-Diindolylmethane [DIM]
DIM (3,3'-Diindolylmethane) is thought to be the most important phytochemical found in broccoli. [1] Estrogen Metabolism. Some may think it odd to begin with estrogen. Much of the DIM literature relates to its effect on estrogen metabolism, & this is of major interest to women with hormonal cancer,
