Burning feet
Sorry, this is a repeat, but peripheral neuropathy has been a popular topic recently. I get some relief from Metanx, a prescription medical food based on B vitamins and folate. You can Google it. NOT addictive and has medical research.

New study below [1]. In 1998, Walsh, et al (Johns Hopkins), published: "Influence of radical prostatectomy on serum hormone levels." [2] Basically, RP caused testosterone [T] to rise - therefore the cancer had caused T to fall. This ties into my recent posts on low T in PCa cases - specifically the

Post radical prostatectomy incontinence - Sling vs Artificial Urinary Sphincter Device
Does anyone have any insight in an AdVance Sling or Artificial Urinary Sphincter Device for urinary incontinence after a radical prostatectomy? I had previously had open inguinal hernia surgery and believe I had read that the Sling is not as effective after this surgery. Any insight is appreciated.

Testosterone at diagnosis
This is prompted by the recent post by martingugino. He "asked {his} hospital a question: 'In prostate cancer, is there a correlation between testosterone levels at diagnosis and Gleason score.'" & received the expected answer "no correlation". The people at the hospital would not be expected to have

Local therapy in patients with newly diagnosed oligometastatic prostate cancer
New meta-analysis below. My radical prostatectomy of 12 years ago would not have occurred if there were metastases. Nowadays, there seems to be an increasing view that debulking has benefit. "Seven retrospective studies were selected for inclusion, including a total of 24, 203 patients who were recruited

Getting back to normal after treatment
Has anyone got any tips for getting back to normal once treatment is over? Specifically my nails are very "splitty" and I would like to be growing them longer and my bowels are still a bit loose. I have a couple of infections with resultant course of antibiotics, and I've been drinking Actimel to try

What vitamins are you taking?
I'm looking into buying some supplements like vitamin b, zinc, iron vitamin c. Can anyone let me know which ones are the best and how much dosage a day is relevant. I haven't had my vitamins levels checked just tsh and t4. Would really like to start bettering my health and hair quality.
