Nitrofurantoin
Anyone taken Nitrofurantoin & had adverse effect on B12 levels? Had them prescribed for UTI, says on info leaflet to TAKE SPECIAL CARE if you have 'a lack of Vitamin B or abnormal levels'. There is no specific reference to Vitamin B12, so are they just generalising. e.g any type of vitamin B deficiency

Another question. Has anyone ever tried viberect?
A little about me. I just turned 48. I had a radical prostatectomy using the daVinci method just over a year ago. As I said in my previous post; I have tried Trimix for ED with mixed results. I can occasionally manually stimulate myself to an erection, but it is never hard enough for penetration, and

Looking for Alternative Treatment Successes
Eddie (56 years old). Was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer 5+ years ago. Gleason Score = 8, Stage 3, PSA = 34. Underwent a radical prostatectomy which included removal of some surrounding nerves. Was cancer free for over 5 years. In January the cancer had returned with a PSA of 0.008. About a month later

Morning All. Newly prescribed vitamin B compound strong tablets. To be honest I didn't know very much about B12 deficiency. Having now looked on the net and on reading members posts I can see how easily I dismissed symptoms and thank goodness for a GP whom I don't normally see checking my haemoglobin

Chronic Hepatitis B
Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post. Is it possible to have chronic hepatitis b and not infect my husband or my children? My story starts around 1975 when I gave blood, for the first time, as a blood donor. Letter came, something about Hepatitis, telling me, to go to my GP and don't give

How did Rx for fatigue work for you?
Seven years ago I was diagnosed with CLL. I have recently passed from W&W into Stage 1 Over the past several months my fatigue has gotten out of control. Moderate daily exercise, green tea tablets, tumeric, vitamin D, vitamin B, etc., plus acupuncture--all those things together are no longer enough.

RLS what works and doesn"t work for me
It's been a while since I've posted here. I am so deeply moved and sympathetic toward all of you who suffer the same disease that I do. After many years of this hellish affliction I can't tell you that I have any kind of cure although some relief by taking vitamin supplements. I was on all kinds of medications
