Quotes about smoking.
I found these quotes yesterday on the web. So for anyone thinking of quitting cigarettes, or have just started to quit , some of these quotes may make you think. One of the favourites on this site is NOPE : (not one puff ever) Have a lovely happy day. :) :) :) Motivational Quote 1: Optimism

AVOIDING ALCHOHOL AND SMOKING TIPS
I probably don't need to tell you that alcohol and tobacco go hand-in-hand. New quitters are tender. Putting yourself into a social setting where you're tempted to drink alcohol too soon after quitting can be dangerous. Don't rush it. The time will come when you can have a drink without it triggering

HAVE YOU GOT A PET?
The life you save may be your pet's! There's always been lots of information about second hand smoke and people but did you know there is considerable research proving secondhand smoke is harmful for pets too? Think about this everytime you light up in your house with Fido on your lap, or when you're

Good morning all Okay day 4 will start at 12 noon - this could / should mean things will get less intense (mad!!), might even manage to do some work today - rather than just sitting there half zombiefied (spelling rubbish!!). Got to read a book (No.1 on list) last night and found breathing exercises

Stopping smoking and feeling depressed.
Depression is an issue of focus for many who quit smoking. At times, quitting smoking is an extremely difficult thing to do, and it is difficult enough when you're feeling happy. I would venture to guess that many people have relapsed during periods of depression; it is more difficult to stay focused

WHO RULES YOUR LIFE?
Now before I even start this blog, you will all probably have already guessed that just when you thought it was/you were safe, you have already realised I’m back and with a venegence and I'm in fine voice and fettle – I have joined this forum yet again, for the third time, and I am hoping against hope

More stop smoking hints. :)
Quitting tobacco is a process. It doesn't happen overnight, but compared to the amount of time most of us spent smoking, recovery from nicotine addiction is relatively short. Years of smoking taught us to react to literally everything by lighting a cigarette. When we were happy, we'd celebrate by

A little update
Hi, I haven't blogged for a while so I thought I would today. Well I have now managed 22 weeks of not smoking. It does need to be noted though, that without my e-cig I would never have achieved that. I take my hat off to anyone who manages without some kind of substitute but we all have to find

A GOOD DAY
This blog is a bragging blog - it is completely different to my usual blogs because it relates to a brilliant day that we (himself and me that is) had on Sunday last, 9th June. We attended our second car show of the season at a park in a town about 40 minutes away from where we live. The day dawned

3 JUMBO JETS :-
Imagine three jumbo jets filled to capacity crashing in the United States every single day 365 days a year, killing everyone on board. Horrific to think about, but this example represents the number of precious lives lost to tobacco day in and day out in the United States alone. Unfortunately, cigarette

MIND OVER MATTER
That’s what my parents used to say when I said ‘I can’t do this’ and then they would patiently explain that the majority of the time it was getting your mind to understand and/or comprehend that this was the way it was going to be and that I could do it and besides that, there was no such word as can
