This may be upsetting for some, but is the true reality for many...
Two months before she died of smoking-related lung cancer, Michelle Barthram from Gateshead made this moving plea urging people to quit and be around longer for their loved ones. She was just 48 years old. A brave mum turned health campaigner, who spent the last few months of her life urging people

Happy Days
Hi everyone, I am a bit infrequent on this site these days, but would just like to say to anyone out there that it is soooooo worth stopping smoking! I prefer to say quit or stopped rather than giving up. To me "giving up" insinuates that it was a pleasant pastime, rather than an evil addiction!! I

Smoking
So I've decided to stop smoking. I'm only 23 and I've smoked since I was 15. I also have asthma! This is my first day off them, but throughout the day my chest has been feeling tight and my breathing slightly wheezy from time to time! Is this normal? I really hope I haven't done any real serious damage

Happy Wednesday Everybody, wherever in the world you are :-) We have that beautiful round orangey thing in the sky again today which is extra nice, although I expect it will be quite the opposite for Glolin Down Under in Australia where it'll probably be a bit more of a moonshine rather than sunshine

Where have I been?
And I would firstly like to renounce support of my acquired team in the World Cup (Brazil) after the shocking display of Sunday league football during the tournament. Next, yes I haven't done much in the way of posting as I have spent a couple of weeks in hospital, so it is safe to say, no chance of

Day 2 cold turkey. Grrrrrrrrrr.
Day 2, moody, I can do this "brain keeps telling me I'm stupid" trying to ignore my brain. Here is how I started this. Wife and I have both smoked for many years. 15+ she tells me I have started coughing in my sleep. (I'm nervous because this is new.) we decide July 4th shall be our real independence
