I don’t know where or how to begin to describe my journey, because after reading the many posts here, seems I may have been battling more than I realized. Over three years ago I started having benign positional vertigo; however, I started to feel dizzy throughout the day. Then, I started experiencing

Xarelto or also known as rivaroxaban
Good morning, at the advice of the cardiologist my father started this new medication to replace the warfarin. His INR is now 1.51 instead of 2.5 that used to be with warfarin. The doctor advised that the range with rivaroxaban is different to the warfarin and 1.51 is the perfect norm. Does anyone have

Am I taking too much tumeric root?
I have been taking tumeric root for two years and wondering if there could be adverse issues. I take about a 2 inch root blended with ginger root, cayenne pepper, ceylon cinnamon, cucumber, lemon with rind, almond butter, kale or other leafy greens and coconut water. It makes about 12 ounces of smoothie

Hi. I moved house 3 weeks ago. It's been hard work and very tiring. I have severe COPD and am waiting for Lung Volume Reduction Surgery. I've been finding that my breathing has been very bad in the evenings and originally put it down to tiredness. But.....am now wondering if it could be something

Trametinab Diaries
Some of you may remember I posted a few weeks ago that I was on a break from the trial drug trametinab for recurrent low grade serous ovarian cancer. I had been taken off the trial because my echocardiogram had revealed that my ejection fraction had dropped from 60% to about 50%. I was off the trial

Change of Medicine
Hi everyone wonder if anyone has any advice what I should do. I have COPD and been taking Spiriva 18 mg capsules together with Salbutamol for around 2 years. No problems with either and am used to them. I have just collected my 2 month repeat prescription and see that they have given me Braltus tiotropium

Caffeine and Bronchiectasis
I gave up caffeine two weeks ago, just a whim, not for any particular reason. Had headaches for a week. The plus side is, since then my phlegm has been significantly reduced. Not sure how long it will last but I'm enjoying it while it does. I wasn't aware that caffeine caused phlegm until I googled
