Change of Medicine
Hi everyone wonder if anyone has any advice what I should do. I have COPD and been taking Spiriva 18 mg capsules together with Salbutamol for around 2 years. No problems with either and am used to them. I have just collected my 2 month repeat prescription and see that they have given me Braltus tiotropium

Caffeine and Bronchiectasis
I gave up caffeine two weeks ago, just a whim, not for any particular reason. Had headaches for a week. The plus side is, since then my phlegm has been significantly reduced. Not sure how long it will last but I'm enjoying it while it does. I wasn't aware that caffeine caused phlegm until I googled

Taking Aspirin for Your Heart? How to Make It Even More Effective?
There has been some press lately, at least in the USA on adding rivaroxaban (Xarelto) to your daily aspirin regimen, as a result of new studies. I am sure some of you have seen this press. I intend to raise the issue with my cardiologist, in that I am taking Xarelto, so I need to ask him should I add

Pulmonary Function Report
I'm not qualified to know the accuracy of the details but I've found it's helped me understand my results a bit more. http://pftforum.com/patient/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Reading_your_report.pdf

Serevent Confusion
I was prescribed "Serevent" (Salmeterol) to replace the maintreatment of "Tiotrupium" (Spiriva). The dose prescribed was 1 dose daily. It wasn't helping so I switched back to Tiotrupium, however closely reading the GSK Instructions for Salmeterol it clearly states "the normal starting dose is 2 puffs
