Choosing not to have more children
Evening all,For context, I have a 21-month-old son, and after his birth I spent 6 weeks in a Mother and Baby Unit with him, as well as an initial week separated from him in an Acute Mental Health Ward, due to PP. Will I ever feel “normal”?
I am definitely much happier, but then my anxiety kicks in and says “Hey, what if this is mania or
psychosis
setting in”?

Olanzapine indefinitely
Hello ladies, I hope you are all doing well. I am pregnant with my second child and I’m on 5mg of Olanzapine. I have been on it for 2.5 years now. I am consumed with fear of what it will be like when I start tapering Olanzapine in the future. I might want to stay on it indefinitely but I’m scared of

My Journey Towards Recovery from a Severe Mental Health Condition, namely Bipolar Affective Disorder Type I
In my case l had a manifestation of mania with
psychosis
that severely affected my ability to work and relate well with family, leading to my first admission in hospital. I stayed in there for a month with other mental health patients but l could see that l was much better off.

Deep Depression after Psychosis
I had a stay at an MBU this summer with postnatal
psychosis
and received a new diagnosis of bipolar. Since then I have had ups and downs, and am under the care of the perinatal mental health team. Right now, I’m in an awful low.

Can anyone give any advice on their own recovery and feelings during post natal depression
My sister’s mental health started to deteriorate as soon as she bought her baby home back in August. She has suffered with her mental health in the past but had a traumatic pregnancy and birth with the baby in hospital for 13 weeks and having additional needs (cleft lip and a feeding tube when she came

Withdrawal symptoms after olanzapine
I think this along with lack of sleep and having her in a lockdown ultimately led to my
psychosis
2 weeks later. I was in a psychiatric hospital for 8 days and was put on olanzapine and sertraline to manage my symptoms.
