Holidays bring out the worst in me and i wonder why
I feel like the psychotic villian and i don't have
psychosis
. I feel trapped. She doesn't want me to speak to her. I've taken responsibility for what I've done but in true form that is my maternal family, they don't take ANY responsibility for what they've done.

Given diagnosis of Psychosis about to administer depot Paliperidone 100mg - blood tests below
I don’t know if anyone is able to help me understand the tests below. I have been convinced for years that my Mum has Thyroid disjunction, which over the years has culminated in her become delusional to the point of not accepting any help and not realising anything is wrong with her. She won’t accept

Update: fertility & looking into adoption...
I’ve never felt any stigma around my postpartum
psychosis
before. I’ve been very lucky - and very “open” about it all. But explaining to the social worker about my illness, my subsequent bipolar disorder diagnosis, and the MBU stay, I could hear her intake of breath on the other end of the line.

Hello
from post parting depression with
psychosis
. I had 6 weeks in a psychiatric ward when my daughter was 9 months. I nearly lost my job (doctor), daughter, and have split up from my husband but am feeling very positive about the future.

Writing about post partum psychosis
Hi all. I have recently come off all my medication after nearly three years & am experiencing some flashbacks from when I was very poorly. I wondered if anyone else had experienced this & whether writing about my experience may help? Just before I had PPP I graduated from University with a degree

MBU's Are there plans for more?
I had PPP in 1990 after the birth of my son. I was lucky to have had a MBU on my doorstep in Winwick Hospital, near Warrington, Cheshire. The site where Winwick Hospital once stood is now a housing estate. I think the nearest MBU is in Manchester. I cannot imagine what it is like for women with PPP

Medical negligence
I'm now in the horrid process of suing the hospital and all of the horrid memories of
psychosis
have resurfaced. I saw a psychiatrist today as a part of the claim. I was wondering if anyone else had been through this experience and if anything helped?

A question about mother and baby units: can anyone tell me about her experiences in one ? what helped and what if anything could have been better ? How many others were there at the same time ? Or were you and your baby alone ?Did you learn valuable information about your depression ? How did you

My Mental Health Symptoms gone - Changed my way of eating
I was never diagnosed with any mental health illness or
psychosis
, Over those 36 years, I have had suicidal periods, agoraphobia, severe paranoia, deep depression even when not suicidal to the point of not washing or getting dressed during days on end.

Previous mental illness/psychosis?
I was just thinking I wonder if many people who suffer from pp after having a baby have any previous mental illness or
psychosis
? I have had both, ongoing depression and anxiety and I had a psychotic episode around 6 years ago also.
