Impacts on children
What do fathers tell their children when their mother has had a baby and then suffers from severe mental illness? Do children visit their mother and sibling in an MBU? I suffered with PPP after the birth of my son, and he’ll be four years old when I expect to have my second later this year. I’m now thinking

Thoughts of an 18 year old
Last year was the first year I experienced
psychosis
and it was really rough. Now I'm really suicidal and cutting again. I try to find happiness in anything . I used to find happiness in drugs but not anymore. I can't even escape this when I sleep.

Meet up groups
I also had another
psychosis
episode 2 months ago and social isolation is not good. I’m trying to look for meet up type groups. Mom groups I find intimatating and I’m not having any luck with meetup.com. I was part of a mental health group but it was too big and I found it not helpful. Any ideas?

How the VieLight 810 helped my husband
My husband's good results fromthe VieLight 810 I will preface this by saying that about one month before using the VieLight 810, he started on Seraquel, 25 mg. for
psychosis
. At that time, he was totally disoriented, wandering the house constantly, wearing diapers and couldn't sleep at all.

Can postpartum psychosis really take your life away?
How do you explain to people after you've done some outrageous things and how do you come back from it all...loss of confidence being the worst and no self esteem as I feel branded the crazy one now For the rest of my life...no job due to all of above.feeling very low today guys ...sorry!

PPP after second baby
Hi, I got PPP after the birth of my second son in September 2011 out of the blue with no history of mental health problems. I've been to hell and back, sectioned multiple times, enforced ect and currently banned from seeing my children unless I am supervised by my ex husband or dad. Looking forward to

My story
I believe I used to have bpd and now have
psychosis
but my psychiatrist doesn't listen to me. I had to make a complaint to get a second opinion. I'm feeling very anxious about this appointment as you can imagine. But fingers crossed I get a good outcome.

Anxiety or a rational fear
What if am exhibiting symptoms of
psychosis
and this will escalate and I will be a danger to myself or others. That is when I felt so dizzy and nauseous. This is hell Pure hell

Frustrated by PP
All I wanted to do when I had postpartum
psychosis
in 2016 was to get over it and get on with my life but going back to work just feels too damn hard. Now I'm worried about my future, whether I'm too 'fragile' to deal with what life throws at me. Someone please tell me it gets better!

High risk of PPP - Meds & Bottle Feeding
I met with a Perinatal Psychiatrist yesterday who explained that the risk of me getting PPP is high, and it’s likely to be very severe if it happens. I’m currently well, and not taking any medication. To reduce the risk of PPP, he suggested I take lithium and low dose of haloperidol about two months

Does this sound like bipolar
Really very much...except for the bad desicions, the
psychosis
and the toss back down into hell. So lately I have mood swings but maybe hypomania with deep depression occuring as it is not intense .
