CPTSD
So I'm wondering if anyone here also has Childhood (or Complex) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? if so, have you found some good therapy/treatment for it? How do you feel it impacts your ADHD? I seem to recall Gabor Maté stating that he thinks many issues like ADHD are actually attributable to CPTSD

OCD therapy
Hello everyone. Has anyone tried EMDR for their OCD? I know ERP is usually the first line of treatment but my therapist only offers the former. I’m just wondering if anyone has tried it and what the results were. Thanks for any help or advice. Eddie

Introduction
Hi there, I've been suffering from MDD, PTSD and GAD since I was a child due to a traumatic event. I don't like the way medication makes me feel so I have been on and off certain ones before they can medically take affect. So far I prefer Prozac because it has been around for a while. I don't trust newly

Need help/support/advice for healing relationships with adult children and dealing with the guilt of unintentional damage done to them by me
I’ve been trying to catch up on posts on here and end up talking about myself too much so I thought I’d try to put my own post out here. I need support concerning my guilt over messing up my relationships with my adult children. I used to have very close relationships with all three of my kids. They

Musical Hallucinations or Earworms or Musical Ear Syndrome
I hear constant music notes or lyrics like a broken gramophone, other times it's nonsense words to music repeating like a broken gramophone. Which is it ? Anyone got a good way of dealing with it? I have found CBT and EMDR helpful along with a therapist and I understand Acceptance of it is KEY! But that

Treatment options
Hello all, I have some questions regarding treatment, just wondered if anyone can help. 1. Has anyone (in the UK) managed to get medication other than SSRI plus antipsychotic? Either NHS or private? If so, how? 2. Has anyone tried multiple SSRIs with little to no success, then tried another that does

Accessing Neuropsychology and trauma therapy
I’m after recommendations please. So we had a neuropsychology report prepared for the criminal case injuries claim which recommends he needs EMDR trauma therapy for PTSD followed by further neuropsychology before he can consider returning to work. He has been on the waiting list for EMDR with a local

Finding the right housing solution for ADHD
I am 29 years old and have a huge problem being financially independent and standing on my own. I take Adderall 30mg XR for the past 10 years (it helps). I also just finished EMDR therapy which was helpful for my PTSD. My biggest problem now is finding the way to generate enough income to be fully independent

Cold Laser and EMDR!
On November 3rd 2021 I started seeing a new chiropractor who uses cold laser treatments. It’s like red light therapy on steroids. Look it up! My smell that was diminished is now almost normal. Gait and stiffness improved greatly. Little tremor I had is gone. Can Type 75% better! He does a laser treatment

Would you recommend EMDR therapy?
I haven’t gone to therapy in awhile. I believe I’ve only tried Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I’d love to hear from anyone on your experience or recommendations.
