Declining psa #8
It’s rather encouraging to see the
psa
drop a whole 1 point in less than a year and all this w no adt n horrific side effects. My belief is to catch it early n hit hard w IVM n cbd as once
psa
gets below 2 it’s much easier to treat.

another undetectable
PSA
in again at undetectable which I am assuming means my testosterone is not recovering . No T result yet but 0.5 last month! Still on Apalutamide as a monotherapy but coming off that too is bouncing around my head.

My
PSA
is non detectable. I’m 62 years old. Going on 6 years since diagnosis. Originally Gleason 9 and
PSA
was 69 back then. Had Surgery radiation. Etc. question… what is the typical life span I can expect? I know everyone is different.

Docetaxel
His
PSA
has risen to 47. Auxium scan shows pretty extensive growth in Retroperitineal Abdominal area. As far as scans go, nothing has shown up in bones or major organs. He had CDK12 and ARv7 loss mutations. What is the likelihood we will gain much by doing CHEMO? Thank you!!!

AMG 509 (Xaluritamig): update on this immunotherapy for mCRPC
"Efficacy as measured both by
PSA
and objective response by RECIST were encouraging in this heavily pretreated mCRPC population, and responses occurred with greater frequency in the higher-dose cohorts.

Castrate Resistant
I know that patients who were started at beginning with combo of, say, Lupron plus abiraterone acetate are declared castrate resistant when
PSA
rises in certain ways and/or progression is shown on scans.

PSA increase.
My
PSA
has increased from .13 to .73 in 3 1/2 months. Does this mean I am castrate resistant. Or does it need to increase over a couple more samples first. Can my
PSA
change this much for other reasons. I am currently on Lupron. Thanks for any input.

Enzalutamide vs Lupron Survival
This shows the main results of the EMBARK trial, comparing Metatasis Free Survival and
PSA
Recurrence Free Survival for three groups: Enzalutamide only, Lupron only, or combined Enzalutamide + Lupron. The best survivals were for the combination of Enzalutamide + Lupron.

Ok, first blood work, 3 weeks after the last chemo of ARASENS protocol

After 2 Nuclear Ligand treatments should I still have severe bone pain in my lower back?
At first androgen suppressant and 3 radiation treatments to his neck plus Apalutamide seemed to begin to tap down the cancer with his
PSA
level reaching a low of 0.31. However, before a year later, his
PSA
began to rise. Another PSMA Scan. was preformed with good and bad news. 1.

PSA declining?
My
PSA
was 5.18 in 11/22, 3.26 in January 2023, and 5.88 in March 2023. I had a biopsy in July 2023 which found cancer in 3 of 13 cores. On October 4, my
PSA
dropped to 1.5. I had another
PSA
test on 11/8 and it was 1.0.

PSA still undetectable and testosterone doubles to 1.6
So no movement on my
PSA
but interesting to see testosterone creeping up ( 11 months since my last Zoledex injection so 8 months from the first missed ADT injection).

Any experience with Intraductal Cancer?
PSA
had risen to 5.7, but then dropped to 5.4 and 5.0. I elected to remain on active surveillance since
PSA
was stable, DRE's showed enlargement but no extension, and the small number of cores positive. CAT and Bone tests showed no evidence of disease.

He says that he is not sure I have

psa increasing scans stable
Does anyone else have
PSA
increasing but scans are stable- if so when do you think it's time To switch meds if your scans are every three months and stable and your feeling fine - and all other bloodwork is fine? Do you stay the course and go by scans and symptoms?

This was successful:
PSA
fell from 83 at the start of chemo to about 3. Scans at the Mayo showed nothing visible. However, in the months since then,
PSA
has risen above 100, which I believe is the highest ever for me.
