Coil
I was on the depo
provera
for 10 years (18 - 28) in order to help control my systems of Endometriosis. My doctor took me off of it at the beginning of this year, as my bone density was very low and suggested that I have the coil inserted.

Are there any teenagers using this site who have had a laparoscopy or waiting for one?
My 15 year old daughter has been suffering with the symptoms of endometriosis for a year & a half now.She has tried the pill and
provera
& had to stop because she got really bad side effects. The consultant then wanted to put her on the injections which cause artificial menopause.

Anyone having the Depo-Provera injection and feel like they are going mad?
I have been on the Depo-
Provera
injection for a month now and I feel so irritable and cross most of the time. Before this treatment I was told that I had the patience of a saint but now I find everybody and everything annoying! I know that nobody at home likes the 'new me' very much.

Provera
Evening all, just wondering if anyone has been on
provera
3x10mg and how you've got on. Spent 6 months on zoladex turned into an evil paranoid depressive witch ! wouldn't advise anyone to try it.

Zoladex advice please….
Also although fibroid removal August 2010 seemed to settle my very heavy continuous bleeding - *post lap surgery* I’ve only had 2 forced bleeds with
Provera
(January 2012, May 2012) and one spontaneous bleed this year in July 2013.

I took my last
Provera
tablet two and a half weeks ago and since then I have had excruciating cramps, extreme bloating and major breast tenderness but no other signs of my period.

Has my Depo-provera treatment stopped working? Pain, pain, pain
, I finally opted for depo-
provera
injections which he advised stopped periods in most women after 4-6 monthsish. Ive been on the injection for around 9 months now and for the most part its been a beneficial method of reducing the pain and fatigue of my periods.

Stage 4 and running out of options
So they have released me from hospital still in pain and he has put me on
Provera
20mg tablets (these are not going to help my weight) and wants to try and treat it this way rather than the surgical route. I am at my wits end crying all the time.

Extreme Pelvic Pain - no diagnosis can be found. Ideas?
Over the course of the next year we tried the depo-
provera
shot (which did not help the cramps but did make me extremely emotional) and the nuva-ring (likewise no change).

Provera & still no period. Is this normal?
(My last one was over ten weeks ago) so as a result of this, the doctor gave me a five day course of
Provera
to bring on a bleed and then clomid to start taking on day two. I finished the
Provera
10 days ago and have had no sign of a bleed yet.

Well here we are again...
To add even more stress to the situation I have just started a course of
provera
to bring on a bleed so I can start taking clomid.

Chronic inflammation not endo
I apparently ot diagnosed with endo last year (I've had gynae ops since I was 9 as had ovary removed due to cyst) but found an endo specialist as my gynae wast taking anything I said seriously (I'm 23) and kept telling me to take
provera
to help the pain and that it would help with the pain eventually

Possible Endo - advice please
Since i wasn't allowed to use it long, i had to switch to
Provera
. Only after about 1-1,5 weeks my bladder issues came back. Unfortunately I now also have to add incontinence to my list of symptoms. The gyn. forwarded me to yet another hospital, to see a endo-specialist.
