Do you mean Endometrial hyperplasia?

If so then googling the correct spelling will help you find lots of info on this condition.

It is nothing to do with endometriosis, which is a disease where cells normally found inside the womb are now growing on all sorts of other organs and tissues outside the womb, where they shouldn't be.

Endometrial hyperplasia is inside the womb and for most ladies it is not a sign of precancerous cells but for 1 in 5 ladies is can be the indication that cells are changing and heading towards malignancy.

It is completely within the uterus, so the solution is a hysterectomy if the cells are biopsied and shown to be pre-cancerous. Otherwise you just take the drugs to stop your periods.

It's really not something to worry about unduly - for the vast majority of women, you'll just need to provera. It just means they'll need to carefully monitor you for early cell changes - this doesn't mean cancer, just that the cells are beginning to change and could potentially become cancerous in the future.

I suggest speaking to your consultant or doctor to get more information on exactly what they've found.
