Period smell but no period?

Hi all,

Sounds awful I know, but does anyone out there think they omit a mild period-type smell from down below during the month and feel damp but has no bleeding? Might be just my imagination regarding the smell and no-one has said anything to me but it concerns me as is not very pleasant. I am constantly using panty liners and feel the need to freshen up with wet wipes and talcum powder or perfume every day. I am currently on the Depo-Provera injection but this happened even before I started treatment. I have stage 4 Endo.

Hi yes I am exactly the same. This has always happened to me and I often used to ask friends if I smelled because I was so paranoid they never could (at least that's what they told me). I think its just another one of them things women have to put up with. :-)

Hi - yes I have also only just experienced this myself now. I am currently on no medication thou apart from pain killers but I think it may be the endo (I have stage 3) now that I have been diagnosed. I do recall many many years ago when I was in my early 30s having heavy clear discharge and a very faint odour and like you just used to use panty liners, wipes etc. In fact, a consultant told me I had thrush (which it definitely was not and my currently consultant was disgusted when I spoke to him about my history). As Jojoni says, its just another thing to put up with but you are not alone :0)
