Investigating Proton therapy for salvage treatment following RARP
I had RARP nine months ago, and I'm investigating salvage treatment now. I am G9/10 with pT3a NO EPE but with PCa in the margins. My bone scan was negative. Prior to RARP my PSA had reached 4.9 after doubling from the previous year. I'd be very interested in hearing from others who have used proton therapy

Prostap injections (HELP)
Hi , Did anyone else only manage 1 month of prostap injections? I’m 4 weeks almost into my first month and I just hate it! I’m experiencing every symptom possible , severe anxiety/worry and depression and I’ve gained some weight. I know there is HRT but I’m actually feeling pretty done in with anything

Anyone having any idea about the low serum globulin level? It is very low (0.6). The normal range is in between 2-4. Serum albumim is in normal range . my gfr is around 30 and current medications includes 60 mg Prednisolone and 100 mg Cyclophasmide . Mine is auto immune kidney disease.

1st FET- any advice
Hi all, Due to covid we had our FET postponed but I’m on day 1 of my cycle & have just taken prostap this morning. Any advice on FET transfers? Should I be doing anything specific? I’ve only ever had fresh transfers so no egg collection etc seems all strange to me. Just waiting on clinic getting back

Do I have IBS
Hi there. A week ago now I started with feelings of nausea diarrhoea and bloating. It has been on and off all week. For the past 6 months I would say I have been following a high protein lower carb diet. Including beans, lentils, turkey, chicken. I always cook from scratch so I dont eat processed meals

Feeling Low...not sure what is happening with body
I was on Prostap for over 8mths. Took my ast injection in Dec. Thought I’d get my period jan this year but no show. It’s been 6months no period. I’ve just turned 40. I have severe endo....whilst not getting my period has been great, I’m really worried I might be in menopause. Has anyone experienced that

RV Endo - Hysterectomy /Ovaries query
Hi All, I'm after some feedback please. Is there anyone who has had a hysterectomy (kept ovaries), and found their endo has grown back to point of really suffering again and then gone back to have your ovaries out and noticed any improvement? I need a lap either way but wondering about ovaries as torn

Ferritin/Iron Advice & Other Results
So, I've finally had blood tests done for iron and other things, and have attached the results. Of note ferritin is only 44, I know that this is low. I am vegetarian, Dr knows this and didn't seem to care. She has also marked all these tests as no further action required. If someone can look at my ferritin

How long does Prostap take to work?
Hi everyone I have been diagnosed with endo and adenomyosis. I had my second lap in December to remove endo and it was also discovered that by bowel and ovary were stuck together. My surgeon said this would have been the causing of my constant pain on my lower left side and be separated them in the surgery

Lap confirmed Endo and what appears to be cyclical hand pain?
Hi all, Long time since I have posted but a little baffled by my latest symptoms and looking to see if anyone can relate to me. Diagnosed with stage 3 endo in 2009 at 24. Have been on prostap which helped many years ago. I am on 20mg MST BD and oramorph for breakthrough pain. This is a massive step

Hi, I'm New here
I had my Prostap injection over a year a go to shrink my fibroids. The weird thing is before I had my injection I had a sweet tooth. When I started the injection it had taken it away completely, ever since then my sweet tooth has not come back at all. Not that I'm complaining, I just think it's weird

Low Free Triiodothyronine Levels Are Associated With Risk of Frailty in Older Adults With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
A peculiar paper. The idea that we should measure FT3 in order to assess risk of frailty seems distinctly half-baked. We see so many times assertions that it is entirely "normal" for older people to have higher TSH and lower FT4 and FT4, it at least could be welcome to see low FT3 highlighted as having

What HRT are you on alongside Prostap? :)
Just wondered if anybody on Prostap was on HRT alongside? If so which one? I've had Zoladex before without HRT and it went a lot better than how the Prostap with HRT is going! I guess I'm trying to see if my HRT Kliovance is the problem. Thank you so much :)

Delayed surgery
I've started to get more and more depressed about my excision surgery being delayed. I completely understand the reasons behind the delay but that doesn't help with the pain I'm in. I have now been waiting 11 months for my operation which was due to take place in July or August. When I found out that

Underactive thyroid / M.E. help needed analysing blood test results
I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid aged 14 after 4 years of feeling ill and put on 125 mg of levothyroxine. Unfortunately at the same time I was diagnosed with glandular fever. I have spent years oscillating between feeling well and hardly being able to get out of bed . I practice yoga, rest

Coming Off the Prostap Injection
Hi All, I was just wondering what experiences you've had coming off the prostap injection? I've been on it since October and had my last 3 month injection at the beginning of March. My consultant has told me to keep a diary from now until September. I'm absolutely terrified of being in pain again and

Preparing for prostap injections
Morning ☀️ Hoping you’re all ok? I’m due to have my prostap injection tomorrow and I just wondered if there was anything I could do to pre-prepare. I’ve been warned the side effects can be worst in the first month , is there anything I should go out and buy etc? Also to those have had it did you

Anyone Diagnosed with GCA under the age of 50?
I’m curious to know if anyone here was diagnosed with GCA under the age of 50. I’ve had this concern in the past that I have it. I had a c reactive protein test done in March and it was very low in the normal range. However, recently my scalp has become itchy and tender again. I’ve had some eye

Prostap and HRT.
Hi there! I joined the site a few weeks ago and I cannot tell you how much this has been a massive comfort to me during this time. I’m 20 years old and was diagnosed (by lap) in December just past, however I was awaiting my follow-up appointment for treatment which I have unfortunately been unable to
