GS8 in one core Brachy boost and no HT
Six years ago I was diagnosed with PC. Only one core of 13 showed GS8 ie. 4mm in a 10mm core. I wasn't willing to undergo HT and fortunately that was optional at BCCA with my PSA of 5.2 and only one core with cancer. I had all the side effects like fatigue, frequent urinating and the worst being the

Confusing news from oncologist
Hi all, looking for some insight or direction based off of any experiences or similar ones. My dad started chemo in October with a PSA of 126. After 2 rounds of chemo, his PSA rose to 153, we saw some increase in his bone metastasis as according to the scans (posted about this previously). My dad

Obtaining EpiSwitch PSE
Oxford Biodynamics (UK) has announced a new blood test, EpiSwitch PSE, with claimed accuracy, specificity and sensitivity >= 94%. The test uses PSA along with several genetic markers for prostate cancer detection, which is a marked improvement over 4K in specificity. Does anyone have info on getting

Blood in Urine
Hi fellow fighters Had blood in my urine the last 10 days. Hoped it was a UTI but a course of antibiotics has failed. I had a bladder neck incision last June to help urinary flow. The urologist saw a suspicious patch and a biopsy confirmed it my prostate cancer has spread to my bladder. I’m hoping

I have been thinking about trying ostarine for my locally advanced prostate cancer, osteoporosis and sarcopenia but I have been reading that sarms do not suppress p/c growth.

How do we determine if cancer is in remission
Just had my fourth of five Cyber Knife treatments and my doctor said everything has been going "great." It turns out that means when the treatment was performed my bladder was full and my rectum was empty. When I asked if another Petscan was on the horizon he told me that it was unlikely that my insurer

de novo metastatic prostate cancer
hello, I was diagnosed in march with a very aggressive and advanced case, with many skeletal lesions - high volume/high risk. I’ve been on degarelix/Firmagon and Abiraterone for the past 3.5 months and it seems to be working well - just had my 3 month scans. And the terrible fatigue is under control

How to find a MO Specializing in PCa
I just completed a clinical trial lasting two years. My PSA has slowly risen from 0.06 to 0.12 over the last 15 months or so. My medical team was surgical and now I'd like to move to monitoring with a qualified MO as my PSA moves upward. Where does one start to find an MO who's focused on PCa? The
