Can someone help me with the kelp dosing?
Can someone show me what a dose of sea kelp powder ( Hebridean sea kelp) looks like that is equivalent to 60 mcg of levothyroxine on a teaspoon? Can you recommend me some good kelp supporting nutrients that help the thyroid utilize it? In addition, can you recommend me something that helps remove the

Update on thinning hair
I saw my GP to once again ask why my hair is thinning considerably and to ask for my latest blood results. He pulled out hair from two places and looked for the hair bulb at the end to see if my hair was dying He came to the conclusion that as my results were 'top end of good'? the Levothyroxine I am

Magnesium deficiency and hair loss
I am still searching for an answer to the hair loss. My current obsession is magnesium deficiency. I have read that 90% of us are deficient due to farming methods and lifestyle. I have read it causes migraine, hair loss and fatigue as well as other symptoms. I took magnesium supplements until around

ADVOICE ON KELP FOR HASHIMOTOS
Dear All Could Kelp replace thyroxine ? I have read contradictory opinions on whether people with Hashi's should take kelp. I am unable to tolerate T3 in any form, but did a trial of kelp for 2 weeks along with my Levo. After 2 weeks I became overmedicated (which always happened with T3, but much

Hair loss/growth and t3
Posting this because I sometimes see questions here about hair loss. For me it has been a hypo symptom but it didn't go away even when on the 'right' dose of levo. I still don't understand why when my bloods looked good on levo (tsh under 1, t4/t3 high in range) my hair continued to thin until t3 was

Help with sudden hair loss due to T4 medication
Hi Could someone tell me why thyroid medication is causing me hair loss? I know it is the medication as, despite having an underactive thyroid most of my life, I have never had any problems with hair loss until I started on medication. I was on T3 only - and had no hair loss problems on this. But it

Hair has been thinning for 9 months but is growing...but I also saw a bald patch :/
So I'm 25 and my hair has been thinning for 9 months... During those months...it thinned slowly which made me think okay this androgenetic alopecia...because its thinning slowly and not coming out all at once , nor do I have patches. Also, my hair would not grow at all...which is another reason I chalked

Advice on blood results please
Hi everyone, I would appreciate some input into my latest( and former)results please. I have been up and down with Hashis some time now, it now seems to be getting more erratic. It started Aug, 2016 when I was feeling jittery etc., so went to my gp to ask for blood test. These were all taken early morning
