Have you been misdiagnosed? I might have been.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s approximately four years ago by two different neurologists. I noticed the first symptoms two years before that. So I am into my sixth year with Parkinson’s. I have managed to treat my symptoms through natural solutions, including: - An intense focus on finding a diet

Flu jab
My partner is housebound due to a fall. I'm his carer. We need a flu and covid jab. Nobody seems to know who does it. Gp says they dont send there nurses to give it. The district nurse has no idea. I've hit a wall. Can anyone give advice.

Ah...I am breathing easier
This is for everyone (though it is old news for most) but I haven't ordered Pan Pharma hydroxy for a year...in fact I believe I got the end of the lot and when it finally came it had a very short expiration. It also took 6 nail-biting weeks to get here. I was worried but have noticed the trend of it

Taurine supplements New Scientist Page 18, 17 June 2023
There is a research article in the news article section of the New Scientist that week saying that Taurine supplements may extend lifespan and health as we get older. 12,000 60 year olds were analysed and higher taurine levels correlated with better health and lower incidence of type 2 diabetes and reduced

Lyme Disease
Hello, I hope everyone is feeling as well as possible. Can I ask about links between Lyme Disease and RA? What is actually known? My daughter was talking about ticks the other day (we are both walkers) when I said I had had (in my late teens) a bullseye mark from a tick on my leg, she said ‘well that

Pred and colds, and pmr burn-out
Hi All.Probably both silly questions, but firstly, do other people with PMR keep getting colds? One after the other? I am tapering down from 10 mg. Secondly, I've read that PMR often burns out after 2 years. So does this mean that if I taper down to 0 or 1mg across 2 years, the PMR will have gone as

Third run after Covid: run cut short but that’s ok
I did my third run this morning, after getting back on the wagon after a break due to Covid. My hubby still seems to test positive, I negative since a week now, but I can tell my little workouts (runs and rows) do take it out of me. The little 20 minute hill runs and 15 minutes rows all feel great

I hate Covid!
So here I am AGAIN with Covid. The last bout was in October last year, so I've had a few clear months this time. When I've had it before, I know that it depletes my B12 and makes me feel awful, and each and every time, I know that I need extra jabs. So, when I came down with it 10 days ago, why didn't

RA and live flu vaccine
HiMy daughter has rung to say my 2 year old grandson has just had a live flu vaccine. She said the GP has said to avoid people with very compromised immune systems, eg. they said, having bone marrow transplants, for a week. She asked if it was safe for them to see me and was told they had no guidance

Third fresh failed (6th embryo) 😢
Good morning all Firstly I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that responded to my posts and shared their experiences over the last few weeks (sorry I've not managed to reply to everyone but I have read your responses). It's been an incredibly anxious time and just doesn't get any easier the more

Change clinics after failed first attempt?
Hi all! I’ve just completed my first ivf cycle and I’m looking for some advice from more experienced ivf ladies. in a nutshell, I’m wondering if I should change clinics or question them further. I am 40 and had previous successful pregnancy and miscarriages (12 years ago) good amh, afc and retrieved

fatigue article
not sure this link will work as this comes via my Apple News, if not this article was written in The Atlantic. It’s about Long Covid and other fatigue disorders and a good chunk of it is a great crossover to what we experience in PBC. I recall when we first started hearing about Long Covid telling
