Having a Covid Booster vaccination and Flu vaccination at the same time with Lupus (SLE)
Hi everyone, I need to get a Covid booster vaccination and also a Flu jab. The WHO suggests that it’s safe to have both vaccinations at the same time (in different arms) but I was wondering if there was anyone here with personal experience of having SLE and getting both of these vaccinations. Thanks

The Flu Jab.
The Flu Jab. Good afternoon everyone. I went along along for my yearly Flu Jab yesterday morning early doors and had mine done. I had a fairly busy day so when my jab was complete I put it to the back of my mind. As yesterday went on I felt a little more tired that usual so I went to bed a little earlier

I started having a fibs in 2007 after having Lyme disease and also possibly too much thyroid medication. I’ve managed it all these years and after I turned 65 2 1/2 years ago, the doctor started pressuring me to go on blood thinner because of stroke risk. my score is only a two and it’s a gray area for

Shingles Vaccine
I have RA and am currently taking hydroxychloroquin, methotrexate and amgevita. I’m trying to work out whether at age 61 with a compromised immune system, I will qualify for the new shingrix (shingles non-live) vaccine on the NHS? Does anyone know?

I had a bad cough with a chest infection (in my opinion). The third time this year. On previous 2 occasions, I was given 30mg pred per day for 5 days and an antibiotic, and chest cleared each time. I have been in contact with covid, but have not had +ve test. This time I was not given, I was refused

PMR like symptoms r/t chronic tooth abscess?
Most recently it's been discovered I had a tooth abscess. The dentist belive I had tooth infection for a long time. Prior to leaving for the Camino I had this tooth removed. Is this the root (no pun) cause of my infection raising my inflammatory markers since 2021 which return inflicted PMR like symptoms

anyone live in (or know well) France?
morning all I’m going on holiday to France soon and fretting about Covid. Specifically whether you can access a sotrovimab (monoclonal antibodies) infusion. I am reasonably confident that the paxlovid pills are available but really wouldn’t want them if i succumbed to Covid whilst away due to having

Effect of a bad cold?
I was comfortably working my way down via DSNS from 8.5 to 8 when I caught a nasty cold (negative for covid). The morning pain in my shoulders became very unpleasant, though not to the level of what I would call a flare, which I have experienced before. The pain subsided but never really left all day

I was in two minds if to write this post as I know how difficult it is to read these updates if you are still struggling. and the fact that I am still in shock at a positive result. But I would also like to share a story of hope. So some of you will know my history, we had success on our second ICSI

First run after Covid (the 3rd time): a deliciously drizzly, cloudy run
Mightily proud that I managed to adhere to my plan and get out there today, for a first little run after recovering from Covid. I ran for 21 minutes, including 4 min warmup walk and 2 min cool down walk. I chose NRC 15 min Head Starts, which was perfectly timed. I took the nearest route from my

Hi, this might be a slightly odd one. Both I and my partner work mostly work from home. However for my partner this is very formal and she has to get a special working arrangement agreed to get allow more than the normal number of days each week working from home. She needs to renew this arrangement

Liver detox after chemo?
I am starting Taxotere next week and received some advice from a friend fighting serious colon cancer. He told me how he detoxed his liver after each cycle. He used TUDCA Bile salts and PectaSol from ECONugenics Company. https://econugenics.com/collections/pectasol?Wickedsource=Microsoft&Wickedid
