1000's of PVCs!
So about 5 weeks ago, out of nowhere, I started with PVCs constantly over a 24 hour period. It stopped the next day. It happened again 2 days later, again gor 24 hours. Then about 4 days after that, I was woken up at 4am by really strong heart flutters. I got up, went to work (I work in cardiac theatres

Ongoing nausea
I am on the full cocktail of meds for HCM and AF. Bisoprolol was changed to 6.25 mg Nebivolol 5 weeks ago due to increased PVCs which are now under control. Am suffering with constant pretty bad nausea BUT this had started on and off a few weeks before the change of beta blocker. I was having good and

PVC’s (ectopics) or AF?
I’m now home following a bypass about three weeks ago. Whilst I feel fatigued, I’m managing to walk 500m or so daily. My resting heart rate has come down to about 58-68 bpm. The medication which I am taking daily to control arrhythmias is Bisoprolol 10mg which replaces my former Sotalol. There is

PVCs again and again!
Still seem to be getting more than my fair share of PVCs recorded on my Kardia. Yesterday every hourly reading recorded SR with premature ventricular contractions. Fed up with it as I'm really aware of them. I've taken an extra bisoprolol today and am hoping that helps.....I guess I'm going to have

Metopralol tartrate vs succinate er..differences please and which is better for eptopics and flutters?
Would like to know which is better for what? I have pacs pvcs and some low hr in the 50s at times. I have been on succinate for several months a low dose didn't work well. I have been switched to the Tartrate. I would like to know what has helped others. It seemed to help with flutters some but

Anxiety over ectopics.
Morning all.I had a flutter ablation in May all good.My question is does anyone still check pulse overly and I'm in a constant state of anxiety every time the ectopics start seemingly out of the blue that they will fire up the arrhythmia again.Had a very brief followup after 7 months and I'm waiting

0ne year on from AF ablation.
Positive changes since my ablation in Dec 2021: my AF episodes and panic attacks have become less intense. My heart rate never goes beyond 120 BPM during an AF episode now, and the longest episode I've had has been about 90 seconds. My panic attacks have probably become less severe due to Bisoprolol,

New Here — Most Recent Arrhythmia
Hi, all — I initially posted this to the Afib Forum but just found this group, which seems more appropriate. I was experiencing episodes of tachycardia sometimes lasting up to a half hour or so. Being a non-cardiologist, my first thought was Afib and, indeed, that’s what my Apple Watch said. I ended

Dofitilide without Afib??
Hi, all — not sure this is the right place to be, since it doesn’t really appear that I have AFib. I was experiencing episodes of tachycardia sometimes lasting up to a half hour or so. Being a non-cardiologist, my first thought was Afib and, indeed, that’s what my Apple Watch said. I ended up going

Fatty Liver - So worried
I gave up drinking about 3 years ago with some 'blips' along the way where I tried moderation which I absolutely know now does not work. However, the dragging sensation I used to get in my liver area when I used to take a drink has persisted into sobriety. I approached the doctor to look into this in

Eptopics And flutters
Well it's 6 years in dealing with these horrible things..PVCs PACs PSVT Fluttering..3 Cardiologist later and no real solution that works for me.I can say the one thing that has not worked is trying to EMBRACE them. I don't think I can ever get use to them or ignore them..no matter how I try. I take

Premature atrial contractions (PAC) and Premature ventricular contractions (PVC). Same triggers as Afib?
Just curious what causes PAC's and PVC's to vary so widely. Last night over an 8 hour period I had 2,608 PAC's and 1,237 PVC's, which was much higher then usual. My Afib burden is very low, each time only lasting 20 seconds and not as bothersome. The night before for the same period I only had 276

Anyone else feel voiceless in appointments?
So tired of everything right now. Speaking to my cardiologist who just seems to completely ignore excessive evidence provided to him relating to the frequency of my PVCs. Why is it adult patients are spoken to like they’re either stupid or children? I actually spoke up for once and said I felt

PVCs Should I worry?
My Kardia is picking up fairly frequent PVCs and Dr Google has informed me that frequent PVCs can lead to sudden cardiac death. Great! Now I'm really worried. Please help if you can throw any light on this. Feel frightened to go to sleep now and not sure what to do.

Diagnose Liver Cirrhosis
I've told before that I doubted my diagnose concerning my liver. You can read my previous posts if u would like to. I remember two and a half years ago I had highly elevated values in my blood, a swolen, painfull liver and I could feel my spleen. Further I told the specialist I had blood coming from

Metoprolol- advice please.
The chemist just delivered new tablets. Metoprolol , 25mg one twice a day. Experiences please? I had hallucinations on bisopralol and it dropped my BP so low I could barely move. BP normally averages 123/63. This is for constant PACs and PVCs. I react really badly to many meds and there are a couple
