Is anyone else having trouble being prescribed Premarin, I have been denied my repeat prescription on grounds of ethics .I have been taking this HRT for 30 years plus ,I am now 74 and on the lowest dose.I have tried patches and other drugs but Premarin has been the best for me.Two weeks ago I was sent

I’ve been prescribed Progynova from my clinic but I can’t get it where I am so they’ve said I can use a substitute that my local pharmacy does have called Premarin. Has anyone used Premarin and had success with it?

I have Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease , I take Premarin for HRT . I am wondering if there is anything stand out about my results that I should address. Can increasing my Levothyroxine give me a higher FT4 result and will that give me more energy ?

Could the Premarin cream that I was prescribed to insert vaginally 3 times a week be causing this? Thank you for your answers!

I am now on Premarin cream which helps with elasticity of the colon when I have IBS-D episodes. At this point I cannot eat any raw vegetables and have other dietary restrictions trying to control the IBS. I feel like I'm eating the worst kid diet ever but it works.

lasted for about 12 days due to which I got admitted also .So after USG,MRI n CT Scan they found I hv a right tubo ovarian mass or endometrioma of 6 cm .The doc put me on 3 months of Zoladex which caused a lot of side effects which I complained to doc who prescribed me to take Estrogen tab called Premarin

What is known about the effects of oral estrogen on the liver? Does oral HRT (hormone replacement therapy) cause liver inflammation that may lead to PBC? Thank you.

Just had full works blood test results back and all ok so Dr put me on the subjugated oestrogens from female horses- better known as Premarin. Wondered if anyone else had swapped over for similar reasons and if there was any benefit?

I was on Premarin for 20years or so as I was 32 at the time and would go straight into menopause. The specialist told me that they never give oestrogen to someone who has stage 4 severe endo as all it does is feed it. He has put me on livial(progesterone) in the hope it will starve the endo.

Can Premarin be used at this point to aid healing as I have had hysterectomy. Thank you

What has been shown to be dangerous is the use of non-human hormone substitutes like Premarin and Provera (PremPro).

So my questions are is it ok to take Premarin and thyroxine together how far apart should they be.? Do I need to get all of the vitamins and supplements mentioned on this forum?

I know because I do a self exam every month because I am on Premarin and hormone replacement creates a breeding ground for breast cancer. Benefits outweigh the risks currently so that’s why I continue to take it. Anyway...the one on my collarbone feels more cyst like than tumor like.

I was also thrown into full blown menopause after the chemo so I’m on Premarin as well for the hot flashes and other symptoms and Dexilant for severe GERD and Barrett’s esophagus (thank you radiation 😉). What I need is some advice on how to get rid of the fatigue.

I decided to ask this other doctor to put me on HRT (she did) I took Premarin. I have never looked back. All my symptoms disappeared. I do still have an underactive thyroid but they say you will always have it.

Has anyone taken estradiol or Premarin and have any recommendations?

No drugs I've ever been prescribed even seem close to pregnant mares' urine (Premarin). Whenever you read about synthetic HRT, and all the warnings, it seems to be about Premarin.
