Uncertainty
when I was 12, I watched my mum enter a manic episode for the first time. No one else picked up on it, but I sat there for months watching her go downhill, until she was hospitalized. Ever since, I've kept a stringent watch on my own thoughts and actions. I have actively worked on improving myself.

Hi there, everybody. We are new here.
Matthew feels well, but Annmarie is suffering from unipolar depression and PTSD. She is having a very difficult time with PTSD. Does anyone have any recommendation about how to deal with it? Thx. :)

Postpartum psychosis
Hi, I am new to the forum. My partner has postpartum psychosis, she was diagnosed this week and it's totally out of the blue with no family illness, nothing. It's been horrendous seeing my usually happy independent outgoing girlfriend now be a different person. It's crushing me to bits but their

Periods
I don't think she has

, but she has had 3 periods in 1 month, and she needs support that I simply cannot give. (My nephew was born Nov. 18, 2017). PPP is the only post partum forum I could find on HU. Could my sister find support in this column?? Thank you so much! Emmy

PMR SURVIVORS COMMENTS
Dear PMR sufferers I am a 48 year old male who recently recovered from PMR ( unusually young and wrong gender, yes I know! ) and I came back into this site just to give a personal perspective to those still suffering . Many readers are often recently diagnosed and looking for answers or hope, it’s not

Have had stitch/pain that comes and goes frequently under left rib cage..can anyone relate? Tests show nothing.
Hi, for several months, have had what feel like knife like pain or a stitch feeling that comes and goes under my left rib cage. Does anyone get this? I thought it might be may be muscle strain from straining to have bowel movement (please don't tell me not too, as I have severe constipation, with that

How do you deal with PTSD when something triggers you?
I was triggered at work by a coworker. I was embarrassed for being triggered because I mentioned something to an untrustworthy coworker who told my boss. How do I handle it?

Wondering about joining a running club?
.....I planned to repeat my pre-hospital visiting hours run of last week on Monday - but, sadly, one of my nurses wanted to talk to me and I didn't get to leave work until after 6pm. I decided I would just do a quick 15 minute run but it just wasn't happening because it was SOOOOOOO COLD!!!! By running

I am a newbie...
Hiya guys I am not good at intros as I am sure the rest of you aren't... I have suffered with depression, anxiety and PTSD 'professionally diagnosed' in 2017, but I have been struggling for quite a while, it was about a rough time in my past and I don't want to keep letting it bug me, I have tried CBT

New but old
Hi, I deal with ptsd from a really horrible childhood. I have some how been able to, against all odds, achieve some level of success. I have a son and can't help but compare his beautiful, perfect life to what I remember and it is confusing for me right now. I don't know how to help him through this
