My wife gave me a little pep talk
After my run last night I commented to my wife that I was a bit disappointed with my time (W5 R2 3.53km in 31 mins @ an average pace of 08:50/km and a fastest pace of 06:31/km after 5 mins). She told me I was doing brilliant and that there is no such thing as a bad run and that any running is better

Traumatic episode to me
I loved thrifting and wound up loading a house up of vintage. Well one day a month ago i realized how much i had gathred because i wanted to move. I freaked out...i literally screamed. "I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO SELL THIS HOUSE!!!!" .that incident has led to anxiety and a head that can't think like it

PTSD
Haven’t been on here for a very long time as I’ve been really struggling with life in general. Past few months have been quite hectic with a change in a counsellor who I see. They have recently told me that they think I’m suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Whilst it is a relief to know I’

perimenopausal psychosis
I had post natal psychosis 16 yrs ago, my son is now 16 and at college, he is doing well. I think maybe I have perimenopause psychosis, anyone on here had that? I am on a lot of medication including zopiclone (which does nothing), aripiprazole etc. Psych wants to increase my anti psychotic but I think

Funny Story
When I read mrsmike’s post today, I decided to share a funny story with all of you. Quite a while ago, months ago, I was having terrible bowel problems, still having them. But I never shared this ridiculous story with you all. I saw a specialist and he ordered a test called a defogram. I had to go to

First post on the bridge, first 5.5k and first run in rain.
I'm on my second run of the magic 10k and today was the easiest day to fit the long one in. I'm a bit out of kilter due to night shifts and planned to go earlier but it just didn't happen so I resorted to my next favourite time in late afternoon. There was a light drizzle when I started which got heavier

Normal result endoscopy
I had my endoscopy done yesterday and boy I did not like that uncomfortable feeling of throwing up,any way it turned out normal...the main reason I had this test was because of persistent pain while swallowing some types of food eg potatoes ,avocados ,bananas too....the pain gets worse when I get hungry

New Programme - Run in the Sun!! 👟❤️
Hi Runners Well, I was suitably pumped up from my PB and went out with a bit of a pep in the step this morning. Having committed to run for fun and aware of my upcoming Charity Run next month, I have created a 5k plan on my App to run my best 5k on the day. Today was just 2k and I definitely felt good

How I got here
Last year I had a pretty horrific midriff hernia repair and reconstruction from which it took months to recover. I had a ct scan done at that time and a couple of small nodules were found on my right lung. No one seemed concerned and I was told I would have a followup scan this summer. In the meantime
