PTSD

Haven’t been on here for a very long time as I’ve been really struggling with life in general. Past few months have been quite hectic with a change in a counsellor who I see. They have recently told me that they think I’m suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Whilst it is a relief to know I’m going going crazy it’s also made me scared. Is there anyone else who suffers from this ?

Hi there, don’t feel like you are alone. I suffer with anxiety and ptsd and there are lots of nice people on here that do. People willing to help and be a sounding board. There is also a PTSD forum on health unlocked if you have a look. You are not alone 😊

What has happened to cause your PTSD, over the years I have suffered from some very unpleasant memories from when I was abroad and also a severe car accident where I nearly lost a leg. We also did a great deal of travel in the Middle/Far East and Central Asia/China and became involved or seen some very horrible things. Sometimes we have come back home and it took time to get over the actions of others

Can I help
