Is it a panic attack?
I have had several panic attacks in ranging strength, but recently I've been having different attacks. They typically happen at night. My whole body will be shaking, my breathing only gasps if at all and my heart will be heating fast and the sound is blurred, these have been happening every night for

Does anyone know of a good doctor in New Jersey the united states ? That I could go to to do a test on the Vegus nerve ? Or at least more testing than a CAT scan or a barium enema ? Definitely NO MORE COLONOSCOPIES !! I have had close to 10 in the last 12 years and all they do is make my condition

If you needed to visit a support group in person today (given you had a free schedule and no prior engagements), what type of support would you seek (besides anxiety and depression)? I.e. Post-Partum Depression, PTSD (These are examples, but you may still respond with them as your answer). <3

PTSD and EMDR healing
Yesterday was the perfect fall day. It was sunny and warm. The leaves on the trees are changing colors and it was just beautiful outside. I came home from a particularly difficult, but very healing therapy session with my therapist. I've been doing EMDR for the last 3 weeks for PTSD. If you have ever

Not sure how to feel!
15 months ago I was rejected by Papworth for a lung transplant as they said my oesophagus was too damaged and I wouldn’t survive the operation!!! Obviously, this initially felt like a death sentence as I felt that was it. Although the thought of going through a lung transplant scares the **** out of

I came across this app on a website and decided to try it. I’m 32. I was diagnosed with ptsd, anxiety, panic disorder, and ocd at 17. About a month ago, my anxiety came back and I’ve been having a very hard time. I’m just looking for support to get better!

Can x-rays from barium swallow test affect thyroid?
I have been suffering from acid reflux after suddenly getting a goiter (goitre) after taking iodine. (Big mistake taking iodine!) My subsequent blood panel showed low level hashimoto's and subclinical hypothyroid (with ultrasound indicating several nodules which have now shrunk along with the goiter

Contraceptive coil after pp
Hi everyone, can anyone share their experiences of getting a contraceptive coil fitted after having puerprral psychosis. I want to get one fitted and can't get a copper one as my periods are so heavy anyway and it will make them worse apparently. I'm only interested in the coil which has three years

Week 8 done !
So I'm done with week 8 and ready for week 9 ! How on earth did that happen ? I loved week 8. After an awful week 6 and a rather meh week 7, I wondered what had changed to make running so enjoyable, when I had struggled to have fun since W5R3. And I thought back to something my tutor had told me when

W4R1 YEAHHHHHHH
I posted last week about feelings of anxiety during W3, both pre and post run. I read a lot about week 4 before heading out today. I sat on the end of my bed for about 15 minutes, giving myself a little pep talk like a mad woman. Then I thought 'you told yourself you couldn't run 90 seconds, but you
