I posted last week about feelings of anxiety during W3, both pre and post run. I read a lot about week 4 before heading out today. I sat on the end of my bed for about 15 minutes, giving myself a little pep talk like a mad woman. Then I thought 'you told yourself you couldn't run 90 seconds, but you did. You told yourself you couldn't run for 3 minutes, but you did. You can run for 5 minutes. Just bloody do it'. The final minute or so was painful, but the elation that followed was incomparable to any run thus far. For anyone reading posts related to week 4 wondering whether or not you can do it, you can. It's mind over matter!
HAPPY FRIDAY!

We all are mad in here, we all give ourselves pep talks Your was really good and it did work! Well done! You did it and with this mindset you will do so much more
You are welcome! I feel nervous this morning about the 2nd run, but I'm not going to give myself time to dwell on it too much. Good luck and I hope it goes well 😊
