Does anyone know of a good doctor in New Jersey the united states ? That I could go to to do a test on the Vegus nerve ? Or at least more testing than a CAT scan or a barium enema ? Definitely NO MORE COLONOSCOPIES !! I have had close to 10 in the last 12 years and all they do is make my condition worse !!! Been struggling with this since they did a fisher surgery in 2005 after my blood work showed my hemoglobin at seven , which means half my blood was gone ? Blood came out of me when I went to the bathroom and I didn't think it was that much ? Anyway I got blood work done and that's what they told me so I went to the hospital and they admitted me and gave me two bags of blood that brought me up under 10 - I didn't even realize until they put the blood of me how much energy I had after that ? Anyway they never found anything in the hospital and I went to a Gastro doctor for nine months and he did two colonoscopies and sent me to another doctor after the nine months with him that found the fixture in three seconds and did surgery and pretty sure they botched ME ? I have to take pain medicine to go to the bathroom which is total 180° wrong ? Pain medicine is supposed to constipate you and I did when I had knee surgery in 1983 and I had to get off of it to go to the bathroom and now I was off of it for over two months just to see what would happen and I ended up back in the hospital and then back at pain management and then my stomach started making noise and Felt movement and the next day woke up in pain couldn't go took a pill and I went and that's the way I'm living and I hate these pills so if anybody knows of any decent honest doctors in New Jersey that would be wonderful !! Especially if they take Medicaid because that's what I'm on now and a lot of doctors don't take it but I'm at the point to borrow money to go to a doctor that could help me but I don't want to spend borrowed money on a bogus doctor ?

I don't know what tested there are for the vagus nerve but you can have a virtual colonoscopy done by CT scan. You obviously still need to take the preparation laxative. It shows everything but if anything suspect was seen they cannot take a sample.

Did your colonoscopies put you into AF ? I had two successful cardioversions then the probe stimulated my vagus nerve, my BP dropped dramatically and I went back into AF.
