Friends are they real?
It's been a month since I took some distance from my so called best friend. And I think I just realized she never was my friend. I met her while working as a cashier. I was in a bad place back then worse than now. I opened to her about my depression and my suicidal thoughts. Back then I started drinking

Euthanasia and Echinacea
Garshe shared the story of the above and I now have to tell the tale of Princess Diana's funeral when a friend of mine's family gathered together to watch the ceremony live on TV with all the pomp and ceremonial grandeur. This is a large Essex family who often holiday together, aunts and uncles, nieces

LONG NEVER-ENDING BATTLE WITH MYSELF
Hello all! I'm trusting that I'm writing on a legit site as I prepare myself to spill the beans on the years of panic disorder, PTSD, GAD, depression I have been battling with since age 16. I'm now 63. Now I have had some very good periods where I felt relatively "normal" and stable. I do come from

My Pandemic Tale of Hope and Heart-break
So, the pandemic hit and I came 8 hours away from my friends to my hometown where I don't have any friends and I am also not on really good terms with my family. Currently, I've been sitting in a small room in my house from 1.5 years. I got admission to pursue my masters during the lockdown and its been

When to take Questran or Colestid powder
I am taking one sachet of Questran or Colestid powder (containing colestyramine or colestipol hydrochloride respectively) per day to control suspected bile acid malabsorption (I have a cooperative doctor - but I haven't been tested for BAM) and therefore IBS D - and with some success. My question is,

Just gonna lay it out there…been crying all day. Bad depression.
I started Lithium a few days ago and have decided to stop. I was on an incredibly low dose so I’m not too worried about coming off of it but feel so much sadness, anxiety. I don’t know where to turn. I’m the one, if anyone remembers - no big deal, that had a very good friend cut me out of her life right

Slow down if you can and find that peace inside of you
That’s when inner peace finds you even if you are busy on the outside you can slow down your breathing and your thinking ... practicing this myself Here’s a pic from my morning walk P.s. breathe in through your nose filling up your stomach then breathe out through your nose ... filtering your thoughts

Sunny and muddy evening run
I started this run with Coach Bennett’s 25 minute “I don’t want to run run” playing, as I really needed a push (confession - it’s been 11 days since my last run 😱. Think I’m missing my running buddy - who’s doing v well running wise btw ). Well CB was giving me the perfect pep talk, I was running through

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has switched from Olanzapine to Quetiapine? How did the switch go and do you prefer Quetiapine? I am having issues with Olanzapine and would like to make the switch but I'm very nervous to try

Excess amniotic fluid
Thank went for my 28 week growth scan today and have been diagnosed with polyhydramnios. Excess amniotic fluid. My index is 31.3cm and deepest pool is 8.6cm. I will be having my glucose test on Wednesday but in the meantime I am very worried, especially reading up about it on internet. Has anyone experienced

Diseased Couple
I often jest with people stating my husband of 41 years and I are a power couple. He’s had more than of his share of medical issues really since we first got married. He latest 10 years now is Parkinson’s. What I have learned about Parkinson’s is it is one scary disease. But here is the kicker Parkinson

Very good webinar for depression and anxiety
I came across a webinar about how to thrive while dealing with anxiety and depression. I think I actually discovered it somewhere on the Health Unlocked site but for some reason I can't find back the exact spot now that I'm looking for it. Anyway, the title is "Thriving with Anxiety and Depression"

On a rollercoaster of emotions
I’m having a really hard time. I want to hurt myself but have a promise with my psychologist not to do that. I’m not bipolar but I’m having periods of extreme anger, followed by an anxiety attack over and over all day. I’m on Zoloft and amitriptyline but I don’t think they are working. I’ve never experienced

Confused
so I live with my sister since I was 11years and I’m 28 now,, it hasn’t been perfect. She’s a good person and cares for me. Her husband is also a good person, one in a million.. I’m not trying to be ungrateful but I’ve been depressed for a long time living here. Whenever I went to school i was happy
