That’s when inner peace finds you even if you are busy on the outside you can slow down your breathing and your thinking ... practicing this myself

P.s. breathe in through your nose filling up your stomach then breathe out through your nose ... filtering your thoughts can be hard I understand especially with intrusive thoughts but try to question the negative if you can’t simply discard them and then focus on what good you can find.
For me I get really upset being around s certain person who I need to be around for bits of time every day. I’m learning to ask myself why am I so angry because really it was all in the past all the trauma and it will suite me better if I leg go and leg him me anx let myself be and focus instead on being my best self regardless of what this person says or thinks.
